Getting Better

The morning comes and Ningning finds Minjeong outside, alone. The girl approaches her bestfriend.

"hey are you okay? Jimin left early, she texted me saying there's an emergency" Ningning said as she sit next to the empty space

"I messed it up Ning, I ruined it and it's all my fault" the girl said head hanging low

"what are you talking about? Look at me" Ningning said feeling worried

Minjeong looks up to look at her friend, hell she look miserable. Eyes puffed, nose red

"she didn't feel the same way" Minjeong said sniffed

Ningning didn't say anything and just hugged the girl tightly. Minjeong hugs back in the same force as if she's scared Ningning will also leave her

So pathetic

"don't leave me Ning" Minjeong said between sobs

"shh it's okay let's go inside?" Ninging said as she brings her cold, shirt drench in tears friend inside

Aeri was at kitchen making breakfast before she sees Ningning and Minjeong

Ningning mouthed 'later' to her girlfriend before going upstairs

"here, change your clothes and come downstairs to eat breakfast" Ningning said as she gives Minjeong a towel and clothes

"babe what happened with Minjeong? Why she look so terrible?" Aeri said while frying eggs

"she confessed to Jimin" Ningning sighs

"shit did Jimin reject her?"

Ningning nods

"I kinda figured it. I asked her yesterday about y'know being in a relationship and she's not ready" Aeri said added "and poor Minjeong I feel so bad, I mean we were hyping them up for so long"

"I know, and I feel like I fail as her bestfriend. I'm going to help her, so babe if you don't mind" Ningning said

"no no I get it it's okay, I will try talk to Jimin too"

As the two eating their breakfast, someone approaches them in clean clothes but the face looks so dead

"hey Ningning, thanks for this but I'm heading home" Minjeong said

"wait can you at least eat first?"

"yeah Min c'mon you must've been hungry"

She's in fact hungry but she's too tired to even do anything

"no it's okay guys, I really want to go back home and I'm tired. I'm sorry again Ning" Minjeong said as she leaves the house

"I'm going to see her tomorrow, that girl need me" Ningning said munching her breakfast.

Days, weeks gone by and the girls never heard anything about Minjeong ever since.

"Minjeong please open your door" Ningning said infront of the girl room

'who the hell is here' minjeong thinks to herself

The girl opens the door

"there you are!" Ningning said hugging the girl

The girl didn't hug Ningning back instead she looks at her friend soulless
