"..what are you doing on the floor?" Rick questioned as he walked into Riven's room, pausing by the door,

Riven was sitting on the floor, one leg crossed while his injured one stretched out, his back against the bottom bunk, a book in hand, and Riven lifted his head, looking at Rick,

"Jude wants to be on the floor, "Riven replied with a shrug, like it was the simplest answer, "So we're on the floor."

Judith was in front of Riven, a soft pink baby blanket laid underneath her as she was sitting playing with cubes, babbling nonsense.

"..Riven, can you tell my dad that I should be out there, helping them?" Carl walked into the cell, throwing Rick an annoyed look while giving Riven a pleading look.

Riven glanced between Rick and Carl, Rick crossed his arms over his chest, giving Riven a pointed look,

"No, I mean, don't put me in your drama, Carl." Riven told him, shaking his head, and Carl sighs,

"Come on, Riven, it's not fair that everyone can do something useful, and I can't." Carl said,

"It's not about that, Carl." Rick told him, and Carl scoffed,

"Yeah, right." He rolled his eyes at his father, and Riven knew if he had done that to his father, he would've smacked him right there and then, not caring who was watching.

"Uh..want my advice?" Carl nodded, grinning,

"Listen to your dad," Rick looked surprised but quickly covered it up before Riven saw. He didn't want him teasing him, then Michonne would join, then Riley, he wouldn't be free of the teasing for a while, especially if Riley and Michonne heard of him getting surprised.

"Complaining won't get you anything, Carl. You don't see me complaining after being told I can't leave the prison, do you?" Riven said,

"Hershel will kill me if I even try, and the point is, he's your dad, you should listen to him, and stop annoying me." Riven told Carl, who shook his head,

"What happened to wanting to kill the governor after what he did to you? You're just gonna give up because someone told you to?" Carl questioned, his voice full of anger.

"Carl, don't." Rick warned him, sending him a small glare.

Riven slammed his book shut and looked at Carl, "I am not giving up, Carl," Riven stood up and limped over, glaring down at Carl, "and you don't know shit about what you're talking about." With that, Riven pushed past Carl and walked out of his cell, briefly hearing Rick scolding Carl.

As much as he wanted to kill the governor, He couldn't. Besides the fact that he was injured and could barely run from any walkers or humans, everyone was keeping an eyewatcful eye on him.

They all thought he would sneak out and go kill the governor, possibly get himself killed in the progress.

He tried, but Riley caught him the first time, and he got scolded by hershel for a few hours, telling him how stupid and dangerous it was, and truth is,

Hershel was right.

Riven would never admit it to the old man, but he was right about it being dangerous, not for him, no, he didn't care if he died, but for the others.

If he keeps going on his revenge mission alone, and without a plan, someone other than him is gonna end up dead.

It could be one of his brother's, Riley or Michonne, He couldn't let them die for his revenge.

The governor was a cruel, sick, evil man who would do anything to get what he wanted, not caring who's getting caught in the crossfire, but Riven was the opposite,

He cared deeply about those being caught in the crossfire. He didn't want anyone to die because of him, so he'll wait, wait until the right moment, then he'll be able to get his revenge.

Maybe after his revenge, he could feel a little bit more like himself.

Judith silently sat in Riven's lap, playing with the bracelet around his wrist as Riven sat on the stairs, two steps above Hershel, a glare on his face as he stared at Andrea, who decided to come to the prison and try to talk to the group, convince them how "Good." Of a person the governor was.

If only she knew how much of a bad person the governor is, then she wouldn't be with him. She would be with them.

Riven felt deeply betrayed by Andrea. She chose a man who she barely knew over everyone else, and he didn't think he'll be able to forgive her any time soon for it.

"..Riven.." Andrea looked over at him, a hurt look in her eyes,

"Don't." Riven interrupted her, "anything you have to say, shove it so far up your.."

"Riven." Beth quietly warned, a small smile on her face, saying she found it amusing, and she wasn't the only one,

Riley coughed to cover up his chuckles but quickly quiet himself as his father sent him a look.

"You don't get to talk to him, "Michonne spoke, glaring at Andrea, "like he said, whatever you have to say to us, you can take it and shove it so far up your ass."

"Michonne.."

"You chose your side, Andrea,"Michonne interrupted her, stepping closer to her, "deal with the consequences of that choice."

"I'm trying to make sure nobody else dies. Why can't any of you understand that?" Andrea questioned, glancing at everyone who used to be her friends,

"Are you sure your bitch understands that?" Riven questioned, and Andrea looks over at him with narrowed eyes, and Riven smirks at her,

"I'm pretty sure he's just telling you want you want to hear, but it's obvious your bitch ain't gonna stop until we're all dead." Riven told her

"Stop calling him that." Andrea said, and Riven scoffs,

"You should leave." Rick spoke, sending Riven a look, but the small grin on Rick's face said he found the conversation a little amusing.

"Rick." Rick shook his head,

"Now."
