Riven felt suffocated behind the walls of Alexandria. He moved to Alexandria with Reagan, Mercury, and Oreo for Michonne after the "death" of Rick.

It's only been a couple of days since he moved to Alexandria, and life was moving slow, at least for him.

It takes everything in him to make himself get up from the bed on most days. Most days, he doesn't even go to bed. Those days, Reagan had to carry him to bed and trap him in his arms,

Reagan would fall asleep in minutes, but Riven couldn't, and it wasn't just his insomnia. It was the night terrors. When he did fall asleep, he woke up gasping for air, holding back his screams so as not to wake up anyone.

He kept his problems to himself because everyone else had problems, and they were more important than his problems.

Michonne was dealing with the loss of Rick and having to raise Judith and her unborn baby by herself, without Rick. Michonne had found out she was pregnant a few days after the death of Rick and practically collapsed in Riven's arms once again.

Michonne didn't need him having his issues with Alexandria on top of her problems. At least, that's what he kept telling himself every time he found himself trying to tell Michonne.

He couldn't extacly tell Reagan, who was dealing with a few hostile ex saviors, and a few people of Alexandria who didn't really like him.

Reagan honestly didn't care if people liked him or not. The only person that he cared if they liked him or not was Riven.

Riven knew he had promised Reagan that he would always tell him what was bothering him, but his thoughts were only telling him that he would be an even bigger burden to Reagan.

Reagan would want to stay up with him, Riven didn't want him to lose any sleep because of him.

He could tell Reagan was suspicious after he had found him sleeping in different places inside of Alexandria, and Riven knew Reagan was concerned when he flinched away him his touch, something he hasn't really done in a while.

Alexandria was draining the little life he had inside of him, and he needed it to stop. He needed to be able to live Alexandria without feeling like he was drowning, like every part of him was decaying and falling apart by a place that was supposed to be a safe place.

"..I think you should stay." Snapping out of his thoughts, Riven felt a soft kiss being pressed against the back of his neck as arms were wrapped from behind him.

Riven shook his head, Reagan sighed, turning Riven to face him, and he lifted his head, Riven's eyes tired eyes meeting his, "Ri, I'm gonna say this in the nicest way possible, but you look...like you haven't slept in days, which I know you haven't,"

"Your seizures are more frequent because of the lack of sleep and stress, so I think you should stay back, get some rest, try to get some sleep." Reagan told him,

Riven narrowed his eyes at Reagan, "No." He moved away from Reagan, "I'm not useless, Reagan. I can go on this supply run with Daryl."

"I didn't say you were useless," Reagan responded with a deep sighed, "Alright, then I'm coming with, and don't agrue with me on this, either we both go or we both stay."
