The pulsing ache against her skull is what Melanie felt the second she woke up from her unconscious state. A small moan of pain escaped past her lips as she moved her head a little. She forced her eyes to open, just a little bit. Her vision was blurry, but she saw a figure in front of her.

She let out a small groan, closing her eyes as she shook her head, wincing as the action, but she opened her eyes, the blurriness was somewhat gone, but she could make out who was in front of her.

It was Riven. He was unconscious, dried blood covered him, and his hands were tied behind his back with rope. She realized she was also covered in dried blood, and her hands were tied behind her back with rope.

As she started to try and get the rope to loosen, she tried to get Riven to wake up. "Riven!" She whispered shouted. She stretched her left foot out to nugde Riven's leg.

After a few tries, Riven finally let out a small groan, lifting his head, his eyes half open, "Ah..shit, we got kidnapped again, didn't we?"

Melanie let out a small laugh of relief, but her eyes were full of worry, "are you bitten? I saw you getting pulled into the herd."

"Are you okay?" Riven asked, instead of answering Melanie's question. Melanie huffed,

"My head feels like it's being split in two. And we're in some barn that smells like death and shit." Melanie told him, earning a small laugh from Riven, only for him to wince afterward.

"Riven, you have to answer me, are you bit?" Melanie questioned, her eyes looking over Riven, trying to find any marks of being injured.

"No," Riven shook his head, "Had a close call, skingbag bit right into my brace, left it full of its nasty Salvia." He grimaced in digust.

"That's what you're worried about? When in the hell did walkers start knocking us out?" Melanie asked. She was freaked out about the situation they were in. She was freaked out about the walkers. Were they envolving?

The sound of approaching footsteps made them go quiet, and soon, the barn door loudly creaked open, and someone walked in. Melanie and Riven shared a look before looking at the person who walked in, now standing in front of them.

The sound of someone else walking in was heard, but neither Riven nor Melanie took their attention off the person in front of them. It seemed like a woman. She stared at them for a moment before she lifted her hand, removing the walker mask she was wearing.

Melanie noticed it was real walker skin, a small gasp of disbelief, and digust left her. She didn't notice she moved closer to Riven until their shoulders bumped.

"Dee?" Riven whispered under his breath, his eyes in clear disbelief of the woman standing in front of him. Despite her not having any hair or the fact that her entire face was dirty, Riven couldn't forget a face.

Melanie glanced at him, "You know her?" She narrowed her eyes at the woman, who took a step forward, crouching down in front of them.

"I knew you would still be alive, Riven. It's nice to see you again." She spoke, her voice having a slight accent to it.

"Who's your pet?" Riven questioned, his eyes moving towards the giant man behind Dee.

"He's not my pet." Dee spoke, "his name is Beta. I am Alpha, and you will address me as such."

"What do you want from us?" Melanie questioned, gaining Alpha's attention. Melanie felt a little creeped out when Alpha turned to look at her. Her hand found Riven's, and she squeezed his hand tightly in hers.
