Riven walked beside Eugene towards his workshop in silence, deep in thought while Eugene kept throwing him glances every once in a while.

Deeply frowning, Riven thought about what happened a few moments ago, it was like he could still feel the softness of Reagan's lips against his, he was confused, he thought Reagan hated him, it seemed like he hated him, so why did he kiss him?

Was he playing around with him? Was he just messing around, trying to confuse him, then stab him in the back?

"..I deeply apologize for interrupting your private moment with Reagan, but I needed you to help me make bullets," Eugene spoke, snapping Riven out of his thoughts, "May I ask, is he your lover?"

Riven halted his steps and turned to face Eugene, holding an arm out to stop Eugene from walking, and he narrowed his eyes at him, "He is not my lover, and how long have you been watching us?"

Eugene cleared his throat, not even bothering to look embarrassed, and Riven scoffed in disbelief, "God, Eugene,"

Riven shook his head, "What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"I do not have to explain myself to.." Eugene was interrupted by Riven,

"Shut up, Eugene. I am not helping you with your stupid bullets. Find someone else." Riven spat out before he continued walking,

Eugene quickly caught up with him, "Riven, I must tell you it is very.."

Eugene was interrupted once again, but this time, by gunfire coming from outside the sanctuary before the windows in front of them shattered as bullets flew, shattering the glass into pieces,

"Shit!" Eugene and Riven ducked, Riven heart stilled as he thought of Mercury, "Eugene, do you know where Melanie is?"

Eugene nodded, "Uh, yes, I'll show you, follow me."

The gunfire had stopped, and then Rick's voice rang out, Riven ignored it as he followed Eugene. He needed to find Mercury and make sure she's alright.

The sound of a baby crying echoed throughout the hallway, and soon Melanie appeared with Dominic, who held a crying Mercury.

"Mer!" Riven rushed over to them, taking Mercury from Dominic, who sighed in relief a little. He did not know how to deal with children, especially babies.

"Shh, it's okay." Riven held Mercury close, and Melanie turned to look at him,  her eyes full of worry,

"Are you okay?" She questioned, Riven nodded, and Dominic huffed,

"I'm not! I'm freaking out! Who's this nutjob shooting at us!?" Dominic questioned, eyes darting between Melanie and Riven.

"Rick Grimes." Melanie and Riven replied in sync, freaking Dominic even more,

Dominic let out a hysterical laugh, "Rick grimes, of course," He shook his head, "The very same guy Negan is obsessed with, oh, this great. We are so dead."

Riven and Melanie glanced at others before looking at Dominic, "we aren't gonna die." Melanie reassuringly told him,

"Yeah.."Riven nodded in agreement, "Maybe we aren't, but you are." Melanie threw Riven a look, and he shrugged at her,
