The clicking of the clock was irritating, the ticking was so loud in the silent room or at least to Riven, as everything else seemed muffled, the only thing that was the loudest was the ticking, it kept going back and forth.

The ticking wasn't letting him concentrate on calming himself down from his panic attack, which he was still having, but didn't tell anyone about it.

The three things clearly weren't working. His hands wouldn't stop shaking, and his heart was still racing in his body, and the fact that not only was he having a panic attack, but his seizures were constant at the same time, he was lucky that it was just atonic seizures, and only lasted a few seconds.

A sudden loud cry consumed the ticking sound, and Riven snapped his head towards the sound of the cry, seeing Mercury in her crib crying.

Riven was alone in Reagan's room, where he was practically shoved in earlier by Reagan, before Reagan had gone off possibly to yell at his father, and Melanie had gone him.

Riven didn't know where Daryl was, and London was grieving his fallen friend in the infirmary, the look on London face when Riven had told him that Calvin was dead was going to haunt Riven for a while.

"..hey, you gonna get her or something?" Riven snapped his head towards the door of Reagan's room, seeing a young man awkwardly by the door,

"I.." Riven cleared his throat, "I can't." His voice was small, shaky, upset that he couldn't even pick up Mercury, not with his seizures being so constant at the moment, "would..can you pick her up?"

He didn't particularly trust the man, but Mercury was crying, and she needed to be comforted,

He couldn't save Calvin, and now he couldn't even pick up Mercury and comfort her.

The young man hesitated before walking over to the crib, clearing his throat, "Hello, small human, I am going to pick you up..don't bite me."

The young man carefully picked up Mercury and frantically looked over at Riven, "What do I do now?"

"Um.. check her diaper, and um.."Riven trailed off, cursing himself for not being able to form a proper sentence without his voice shaking so much.

"Okay." The young man placed Mercury down on the bed, "I'm Dominic, by the way,"

"You're Riven, right?" Riven nodded his head, watching Dominic's every move.

"Her diaper is clean." Dominic said, picking up Mercury, who reached her arms out towards Riven, who deeply frowned,

"Maybe a bottle will help?" Dominic suggested, and Riven nodded his head,

"Yeah, um.."Riven trailed off, trying to recall where Reagan had left Mercury's bottles.

"I'll ask Reagan here." Dominic passed Mercury to Riven, and Riven shot him a panic look, shaking his head, but Dominic gave him a ressuring smile,

"You'll be okay," Dominic told him, "you'll both me, I'll be in no time, as a matter of fact, I'll run."

Before Riven could even say anything, Dominic was already rushing out of the room, and Riven looked down at Mercury, who was still crying, her face red as tears streamed down her face, her mouth wide open as she wailed loudly.
