Riven sat next to Reagan in the meeting room, where all of Negan's leaders were, arguing since Negan was currently missing, possibly dead.

He hasn't really said a word since his talk with Reagan. He needed space, but at the same time, he wanted to be close to Reagan, needing the silent comfort he gave him.

As everyone was arguing, Riven thought back to eariler, Melanie and London knew of Rick's plan, knew that Daryl and Riley were coming for them, but neither of them told him, nobody told him of the plan.

He wondered if they didn't trust him anymore. He wondered if they hated him. That thought made him sick to his stomach, the thought of the people he considered family casting him out, and hating him.

As if sensing his thoughts, Reagan interlocked his hand with his under the table. Riven glanced at him, but Reagan was focused on the others. His expression was one of pure annoyance, and Riven enclosed his hand around Reagan, feeling like Reagan also needed comfort.

The tension in Reagan's body left a little. He didn't know how to feel about his father being possibly dead, but relief wasn't one of those feelings, sure, his father made his life a living hell even before his mother's passing, but his father had his moments, those moments are what he clung to all these years after making that promise to his mother before she passed.

He felt Riven's hand leaving his as everyone started leaving the room as commotion came from outside of the room.

With a deep sighed, Reagan stood up and walked out of the room, Riven closely following behind him.

Riven felt too overwhelmed with all these people. He hid behind Reagan, and then his arm was grabbing. At first, he flinched, but when he turned around, he slightly relaxed as he noticed a familiar hat,

Riven glanced back at Reagan, who was busy dealing with the arising problems, and he looked back at Carl, who was pulling at him arm as a silent gesture to follow him.

Riven let Carl pull him further down the hallway and into an empty room. Once the door quietly closed behind Carl, he turned to face Riven, "What's the matter with you?"

"Me?" Riven gestured towards himself in disbelief, "What's the matter with you? Why are you here?"

"For you, obviously. Riley is here too, but i lost him, I don't know where he is." Carl replied, "Why did you stay behind?"

Riven let out a deep sighed, shaking his head, "I'll help you find Riley, but the two of you need to leave the sanctuary before Negan comes back before anyone finds you."

"You're leaving with us. We came here for you. We need you to help us fight Negan, and you can't do that if you are here." Carl told him,

Riven frowned. Of course, that was the only reason why they came back for him. They only needed him when they needed something,

"..what if I don't want to fight anymore?" Riven quietly asked, and Carl sighed,

"Just one more time, then you won't have to." Carl replied,

"Just one more time." Riven repeated in a quiet whisper that Carl didn't even hear, just one more time, and he didn't have to fight anymore. He didn't want to fight anymore,
