"..I wanted to say thank for eariler." Riven lifted his head from where he was carving a wooden toy for Judith. He sat on the floor beside Riley, who was lying on the wooden bench, sleeping, after eating some of the food that the others brought.
Gabriel stood in front of him, looking down at him with a grateful smile.
Riven stared at him for a second before looking down at the carving.
"What's that?" Gabriel questioned, gesturing to the carving.
"That's a knife, one he uses to gut people open for the heck of it." Calvin spoke as he walked over with a smirk, chuckling as he saw Gabriel's frightful and disturbed expression.
"He was talking about the carving," Riven spoke, throwing a small glare towards Calvin, before looking at Gabriel.
"I don't gut people." Gabriel nodded but walked away with a disturbed expression,
Calvin sat beside Riven, and he cleared his throat, "Listen, I'm not great with apologies, shit, it's the reason why my wife left me."
"Thought it was because you were a drug dealer?" Riven interrupted, and Calvin chuckled,
"That too, listen, I want to apologize for drugging you. That was a dick move, but you made an even bigger dick move by drawing one on my face." Calvin told him,
Riven chuckled, "You deserved it, and apology accepted, I guess."
"Well, at least you accepted my apology. My wife could never." Calvin replied, and he looked down at the carving, "What's that?"
"Courage." Riven told him, and Calvin raised an eyebrow,
"I don't think courage has a shape, kid." Riven rolled his eyes,
"No. The dog. Courage the dog, you know from that cartoon, courage the cowardly dog?" Riven said,
Calvin looked at him, surprised, "You watched that show?"
Riven shrugged, "Just bits of it, when my old man left the TV on."
"Ever watched scooby-doo?" Calvin asked, and Riven looked at him confused,
"What's Scooby-doo?" Calvin stared at him in disbelief,
"You serious? You never watched Scooby-Doo, like ever?" Riven shook his head,
"Man, my daughter used to love that show. It always Scooby-Doo mornings, afternoons, nights, all day, Scooby-Doo." Calvin said, frowning,
"She dead?" Riven quietly questioned, and Calvin sighed,
"I hope not. I wasn't with them when it happened, I mean, my wife and I were separated but I still got to see my daughter on the weekends, went to their home, but they weren't there. I've been searching for them ever since." Calvin told him,
"We'll find them." Riven replied with a small smile, and Calvin nodded,
"Yeah, we will."

Daryl, Carol, and Bob were missing. Riven had gone off with Riley, Calvin, and London in search of Daryl and Carol.
While the others searched for Bob. Riven tracked Daryl's footsteps, only leading him to a track of tire tracks.
"..this is where the trail ends?" Calvin questioned, hovering over Riven, who glanced at him.
"The foot trail ends here, but the tire tracks start here. They went in a car." Riven replied, standing up from his crouched position.
"They heading that way," Riven gestured towards a direction, "so we head that way."
"What? No, we're heading back and telling the others." Riley told him, and Riven sighs, turning to face him,
"You told me to tell you next time, this is next time, you can either come with me, make sure I don't get eaten or whatever, or you could go back and tell the others, either way, I'm following those tracks, and finding my brother." Riven told him, walking backward as he did so.
"Well, if you can't beat'em, join'em." Calvin said, grinning as he followed after Riven,
Riley turned to London, who shrugged before following after Calvin and Riven.
Riley sighs and looks up at the sky, "dad, give me your patience,"
Riley lowers his head and catches up with the others, "Alright, but listen to what I tell you."
Riven glanced at him, nodding his head, "Sure."
"So, how'd you learn how to track?" Calvin questioned, as the four of them walked down the road,
"My old man practically trained me from the moment I was born. Daryl showed me some new tricks back at the prison when we went on supply runs." Riven replied,
"Your old man was a hunter?" Calvin questioned, fishing for more information on the kid.
Riven snorts, "My old man was a couch potato, and that's puttin' it nicely."
His dad used to be a hunter when he was younger, but as he grew, he became a lazy bum who abused his children for the heck of it.
"..what about your mom?" Calvin questioned, and Riven threw him a glare,
"What? You turned into twenty questions or something?" Riven asked, and Calvin shook his head,
"Just tryin' to make small talk, kid. That's all." He replied, and Riven huffs, a small bitter laugh escaping him.
"My mom ain't even small talk, barely a sentence worth." Riven muttered under his breath.
"How was your mother like?" London spoke, and Riven looked at him before sighing,
"How should I know? I don't even know the lady. All I know is that she preferred drugs over anything, including me." Riven told him,
"Does your brother know if she used drugs while you were in her womb?" London questioned,
Riven shrugged, "Don't know, ask him when we find him. Why do you care anyway?"
"It might explain a thing or two about your seizures." London simply replied,
Riven knew what was causing his seizures. It was stress, the lack of sleep, and the lack of food.
He read about it once, only the small words, since the big, fancy words were hard to pronounce on his own,
He would've asked hershel but he was embarrassed about it, so he let himself suffer alone.
"Okay, changing the subject, have you ever watched power puffs girls?" Calvin questioned,
"The fuck is power puff girls?" Riven asked, confused, mildly concerned by the amount of cartoons Calvin knows.
He only knew one, and he only watched bits of it.
"You know, I hope your dad rots in hell. Who the hell doesn't let their kid watch cartoons?" Calvin shook his head,
"Why are we talking about power puff girls?" Riley questioned, confused but slightly amused,
"Riven, never watched them. He ain't ever watched Scooby-Doo either." Calvin replied,
"What? Are you serious."
