Eris and your Ghost hover around you as you wake up, their attention fixed on you. You groggily sit up, feeling a mix of pain and the lingering effects of your recent death. "I'm okay now guys, I just feel pain." A look of determination returns to your face as you remember what you were intending to say to Eris before your demise. "Eris how could I make you trust me again? You know my heart is pure and I have the right intentions. Eris I know everything that could do that would break your trust, yet I haven't done any of those. So what can I do? I don't get why my blackout could have caused this, why has it changed Eris?" I scoot to Eris the closest I can.

Eris expression softens slightly as you speak, your sincere words and genuine intentions clear in your voice. She takes a moment to consider your question, her gaze locked on yours. She lets out a thoughtful sigh before speaking her thoughts. "You're right, your heart is pure, and I can see that your actions and words are genuine. But the blackout... It changed everything. It brought back memories I had hoped never to face again. Memories of darkness and fear. Riven."

That name makes my eyes widen, that name rings a bell. I mean Eris doesn't know right? She can't know, what if she tells everyone I'm Riven? No she wouldn't do that, "what if she does. Kill her." I look at the side of Eris and see Xal'thun? No I must be imagining things. And I won't kill Eris. I nervously laugh. "Eris you know I'm not Riven, isn't she a myth anyways? And Eris, but how can I make things better? I never want to make you relive those memories."

Eris flinches ever so slightly at the mention of the name. The mention of Riven brings back memories of her past trauma, but she also feels a sense of comfort and reassurance from your words. "I know you're not Riven, I know you're not the cause of my pain. I can see that in your eyes, your voice, and your heart. But your blackout...made me question everything, made me fear the worst. I suppose the only thing you can do..." Eris hesitates for a moment,

"Is continue to prove your love and loyalty. Continue to show me who you are, and how genuine you are. But most importantly..." Eris reaches out and takes your hand, holding it firmly, her gaze unwavering as she looks at you. "Continue being you. I fell in love with you, remember?"

I smile and nod my head, "of course Eris, I love you. I'll never change, I'll do everything I can to be the same." I reach out to her face and I hold it softly. Eris leans slightly into my touch as I reach out to gently hold her face. Your touch is soft and soothing, and she can feel the sincerity in your words, the love and devotion pouring from your heart. Eris gazes at you, a mix of emotions swirling in her eyes. There's still unease, but also hope, trust, and a deep affection. She reaches up and places her hand over yours, holding it against her cheek.

"I love you too, Y/N. More than you know." I'm going to die for her. "Eris, I want to express my love again to you. But I wanted to get flowers first before I did, I have no idea why I'm telling you now but I can't help but to express myself when I'm with you like this." Eris listens intently as you start to express your thoughts and feelings. A small smile tugs at the corners of her lips as you mention wanting to express your love through flowers. The thought of you going out of your way to get something as simple and sweet as flowers for her warms her heart.

As you hold the green orb in your hand, her eyes flicker towards it, before returning to your face. She watches you closely, curious as to what you're going to say. "You really planned on bringing flowers for me?" I realize I outted with giving her flowers, "you really don't know how to keep a secret." My ghost says in my head and I just sigh. "Yes, but now my plan is ruined for telling you. It was supposed to be after I got this seal." I say shaking my head.

Eris lets out a soft laugh, amused by your confession and the revelation of your surprise. She can't help but find it endearing that you had intended the flowers as a surprise, but had ended up mentioning it to her beforehand. She smiles at you, her expression both amused and fond. "You know, it's the thought that counts. The fact that you even intended to go out of your way to bring me flowers...it means a lot, Y/N. I'm touched." I squint my eyes and smile, "are you? I feel like you're being sarcastic."
