Chapter 6

He's just perfect. Hey took me under his wing without a second thought. He gave me his clothes, cuddled with me, made sure to let me know that I'm not alone, he's there for me even though we were strangers a few days ago.

Everything escalated so quickly, but I didn't mind. I really like Lando, the only thing I'm concerned about is our job...or well my job. If our "friendship" will go any further, then we have to hide it well. We also have to watch out for paparazzis, media and well rumours. 

Lando was still asleep and I just woke up. I still haven't processed that he's taking me on a date...a real date. It was 5am and I couldn't sleep. I didn't want to wake up Lando so I decided to go on my phone a bit. Since the phone light could wake him up I decided to go into the living room. 

I slowly got out of his arms and took my phone. I covered Lando with a blanked and left the room. I sat down on the sofa in the living room and scrolled through social media. I got bored of that so I went on Pinterest. I somehow found myself typing in Lando's name and found lots of his pictures. There was also a few with a girl. I got a lump in my throat. Is he in a relationship with someone?

No, he can't be...He asked me on a bloody date. If he would be in a relationship, he wouldn't do that. I searched for her name and found it. Luisinha or Luisa for short. I quickly googled her name and saw that she was in a relationship. Thank god. Apparently they were dating from 2021 to 2022. 

She looks gorgeous though. Oh, to be like her. Pretty, beautiful body, her hair is shiny...I suddenly heard footsteps and saw Lando entering the living room. He just woke up and looked really cute. "Darling is everything okay?" I smiled at him, oh his raspy morning voice. It was so sweet of him to call me darling. Every time he does I get butterflies.

"Yes, sorry if I woke you up..." I said and lightly smiled. He walk to me and sat down beside me. He showed me to his lap, as a sign for me to sit in it. I didn't wait a second and moved myself onto his lap. "You didn't wake me up darling, don't worry." He said and kissed my forehead. 

"So, why are you up so early?" he asked while caressing my back. "I couldn't sleep but I didn't want to wake you up. You?" I said and started playing with his small curls. "Well I noticed you weren't in bed so I went to search for you." 

He's so sweet, I love him...He was still tired and yawned. "Lan you're still tired, lay down." I said to him and his smile grew wider and wider..."Lan huh?" I blushed and replied "Darling huh?" I saw him grin as he kissed my cheek. God this man...

"Go back to bed Lan. I'll wake you up when you'll have to start getting ready for work." I said to him and tried to get up from his lap. His hands quickly got a hold of my hips so that I couldn't move. "And where do you think you're going?" he asked with a smirk.

"To get ready, where else would I be going?" I said and placed my hands onto his chest. "Yeah no..." he said and pulled me down with him to lay on the sofa. "Lan I have to get ready." I said but he didn't move. 

"So do I. Besides it's not even 6am yet." He was right but I need quite some time to get ready. "True but It takes quite long for me to get ready." Lando chuckled and hugged me tighter. "Please...just 5 minutes" he was being childish but I couldn't refuse his offers. 

I stayed cuddling with him on the sofa for another 10 minutes and he has fallen back asleep. He looked really peaceful, so I slowly got out of his hands to get ready. I took a shower and got dressed in my uniform. When I looked at the time it was 6.15am. 

I went to the living room where Lando was still sleeping. I kneeled down next to him and started caressing his back. "Lan...you have to wake up now." I said softly with a quiet voice. He started waking up and opened his eyes. "You look beautiful..." I blushed.
