Okay maybe not expose, but try and find out the truth. After class, I went to go look for Ace. But as I kept looking, I couldn't find him. Just my luck. Mateo came behind me and tapped my shoulder. ''Who are you looking for?'' He said, in a giggly sort-of voice. ''Ace. I have to know if he likes me or not, I can't keep living like this.'' I said. Mateo chuckled.
''Oh, you wanna know if he likes you, that's a little suspicous...'' Mateo said. I rolled my eyes. ''Anyway, you coming to that party tonight?'' He asked. ''Of course, I wouldn't miss it.'' I said. ''And Juilan's gonna be there too, I can't wait to see him.'' Mateo said in a dreamy voice.
I chuckled and left Mateo in his dreamy state and went home. As I walked inside, my sister Aria was waiting for me. ''Took you long enough.'' She said, closing the door behind me. ''Whatever, you also coming to that party tonight?'' I asked, flopping down onto the couch. ''Of course I am, there's gonna be so many boys there, and mom finally won't call me lonely.'' Aria said, sitting down next to me.
My thoughts drifted to Ace again, how.. different Mateo and Zoe made him sound. ''Hey Aria? So, this boy at school, he seems to be acting different around me and shit, do you... think he likes me?'' I asked her. Aria chuckled. Uh yeah it was pretty stupid to ask, but it wasn't a laughing matter. ''You and boys these days, yes Autumn, I think he likes you.'' She said. I groaned and hugged a pillow to my chest.
''Hon, we're enemies, we HATE each other, how can him of all people like me?'' Aria seemed to be getting annoyed. ''Look, I can't tell the weather, but I can tell that he likes you, now accept it.'' Aria said, getting up and leaving the room. I rolled my eyes and got up and also went into my room. Seriously, him and I will never be a thing, I bet it.
I then picked out a cute outfit and put on some cute makeup, ready for the party.

I left the room and looked around, trying to find Aria. Probably moping in her room about some boy she likes. ''Aria! You ready yet? I'm ready to get out of here!'' I called. Aria came out of her room, pouting. I snickered. It was always fun to see her mope.
''What's wrong?'' I asked as we got into the car. She started the car and didn't say a word. ''Wish I had a boy like your enemy, not that I like him or anything, but he did something to your ex...'' She said. My jaw dropped to the floor. ''Well then don't leave me hanging, what did he do?!'' I asked. She chuckled darkly. ''Jake almost died today.''
