It was very uncomfortable sleeping in bed with Ace. I kept moving away until I accidentally fell off the bed and cursed myself. Luckily, Ace was asleep, so he didn't see me fall. I grumbled and lay back down, far away from him. After a few minutes, I fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep, so I was forced to just stare at the wall. Suddenly, I felt someone poke my butt, and I screamed.
"Ace!" I said angrily. He laughed and poked it again.
"STOP IT!" I yelled.
"It feels like I'm poking a deflated balloon," he said, poking it again. I then kicked him hard with my foot, and he groaned.
"Fine, fine, I'll stop," he said. After a few minutes, he started poking my leg.
"What?" I said.
"I can't sleep," he replied.
"Shut up," I said.
After 30 more minutes, I heard Ace snoring and finally fell asleep too. The next day, I woke up and rubbed my eyes before realizing someone was holding me. When my eyes adjusted to the light, I felt Ace's arm wrapped around my waist, and I was lying on his chest! Blushing slightly, I quickly scrambled out of bed, panting as I leaned against the wall. Ace woke up and looked around groggily.
"Morning... is something wrong?" he asked, getting up.
"No, um... nothing wrong... just... yeah," I said, staring at the ground as I blushed.
"You're lying. What happened?" he asked, sounding a little bit concerned.
WHAT THE HELL WAS I SUPPOSED TO SAY?! ''Oh yeah, we accidentally cuddled in bed and it struck a nerve.'' I thought. NO! ''SAY SOMETHING AUTUMN!'' I thought. ''SAY SOMETHING THAT'LL GET YOU OUT OF THIS!'' "Just... bye," I said, running out the door and leaving. Why the hell did I think that running will fix my problems? I ran out of the house, confused about what just happened. Why did I want him to do it again? And why was my heart racing?
