Cara was lying on a pool float, brown cat eye sunglasses adorning her face. A little maroon two piece on her body her freshly braided hair, still sore from the recent braiding, lying under her. The warm breeze rushing over her body, as she checked the time. '3: 34' the numbers read. She decided she should get out as she had been out in the pool long enough for her fingers to prune.

She got off the float, the cold water making her body tense up. She quickly got out grabbing her towel, she wrapped it around her body, looking down at her phone seeing 'Dodge.Mason' followed her on instagram.

The brunette still couldn't figure out where she knew the boy from besides having a few classes with him, she couldn't think of anything. 'Could it be- wait no he had a complete different name" Cara thought, though he did look so similar to her first crush and friend from Oklahoma, Andrew- though Cara couldn't remember his last name.

She walked back into the the house through the 8 pane window door, she walked down the hallway that led to the big kitchen and living room walking through an arched doorway that opened to the front entry with a flight of stairs that led upstairs. Cara climbed to the top turning right to walk to her room. Apollo following after her, his little body following after her quickly, she let the little animal into her room patting her bed, helping him onto the bed.

The 18 year old girl walking into her conjoining bathroom closing the door behind her turning on the faucet of her shower wanting to rinse off the chlorine. She took a quick shower. The sky above was increasingly reaching darkness taking the pinks and oranges of the sunset with it. Cara was lying on her stomach on her phone with her dog next to her clearly wanting to be pet when she got a text from Nat. "it's starting. meet @ Pilots Point. Calling Heather"

It took Cara a second to figure out what the text meant before a smile reached her face, she quickly got up from her bed, grabbing a blue bikini with white flowers decorating the blue. She changed into it, throwing on some shoes, shorts and oversized tee shirt over top so no one would see the swimsuit. The girl looked out her window to see the fireworks, the excitement filling her body with each approaching second.

She quietly walked down stairs, she turned the corner running right into her twin brother, scaring her. "Holy shit Caleb you scared the shit out of me" The girl said looking at him as he laughed at her making her roll her dark eyes. Upon seeing her outfit his laughter died down though her did still have a slight chuckle in his voice as he said "Where are going?" Skeptically, one eyebrow raised in confusion.

She quickly came up with an excuse saying "I'm gonna go hang out with Natalie." He looked as if he didn't believe her and to be fair she wasn't the greatest liar. "Mhm" Caleb said before continuing as he said "okay. um well don't go stepping on a highway blindfolded or anything" He said knowing about his sisters fascination with the game.

Cara continued to walk to the back door, not before turning back to her brother saying "I won't."

She slipped out the back door. She snuck out to the front, starting her car before quickly driving away hoping no one heard her, making sure to turn out here lights. She drove to the lake, getting out of here car walking over to Natalie who was in line for some kind of admission.

"Hey" Cara said with a bright smile on her face almost skipping as she walked over. "Hi" Nat said looking over her. They approached the small table, Summer sitting behind it. "oh Hi Summer" Cara said knowing the girl from two classes they had together. "Firecracker. Hey. finally old enough to compete?" She said with a smile upon seeing the familiar girl.

"Finally." She replied, before Summer said "Phones?" The three handed hre there phones as she put a piece of tape on each of their cameras. "Okay don't take these off till you get home. Good luck firecracker" Summer said, Cara mumble a quick thanks as the two walked away from the table, grabbing their phones.

The girls walked over to Bishop upon seeing him. "You seem awfully cheerful" Bishop said seeing Cara's smile "Yeah I'm super excited" She said looking at the boy, before they heard Diggins over a mega-phone. "May I have your attention?" Making the three turn around to where he was standing.

Diggins was standing on a small dock, with big lights illuminating him. "Welcome to Panic" He said erupting cheers and claps from the crowd, "My name is Diggins, and this summer I will be your host with the most. This year, the winner of Panic is gonna take home the grand prize of 50 thousands dollars" Hearing this number every was shocked, the stakes were even higher now 50K. Everyone cheered again including the group of three.

"Holy shit. Holy shit." Natalie said with a smile clearly in shock looking over at the other two. "That's the biggest pot ever. Last year was only 30." She said before looking back at Diggins as he continued talking. "You all know the rules. What happens at a challenge stays at a challenge, so I don't want to see any posting, tweeting, or 'gramming about it, no exceptions. Anyone found in violation risks losing game privileges." He said.

Cara could feel herself bore as he continued to speak the rules that were said every year. "The first challenge is the Jump." he turned to point out at the big cliff behind him. Some small cheers coming from the crowd as he said that, Cara's bored feeling eft as soon as she heard those words, the excitement building again.
