-Clary's POV-

"Umm well she is a girl and her name is Clary." Brooklyn said and I widen my eyes at him . What the hell .

"No dad , it's not like that . She bought a coffee here." He sigh , well shit his dad must've known me now .

"What ? okay then." He said as he hold his phone . "It's on speaker now dad please don't say something embarrassing ."

What ?!

"Hello , Clary . I think I've heard your name a lot in our house recently ." His dad voice blasting through the phone speakers , oh God . My name in their house ? Brooklyn's talk about me ?

"Hello , um ... really ? I don't know if he did that." I said and chuckle awkwardly , oh my God . Really Clary ? You must've think about a better answer , how awkward was that .

"Yeah he did , Brooklyn really likes talking about you." His dad adds as I glance to Brooklyn who looks so done about his dad .

"Dad... i didn't even ..." Brooklyn roll his eyes at his dad even tho his dad obviously couldn't see that . I hold my laugh at him , I know he don't like talking about me his dad just making it up . But seriously did he talk to his parents about me ?

"So Clary , I'm sorry that I have to interrupt you with my son right now . But his mom needs him to go home right now." He said politely and I smile at how kind his dad is .

"No , it's fine Mr.Beckham." I sad politely as Brooklyn just seems so disturb at his dad talking .

"He said that you two weren't really on a good side but all that I can see is you're a really kind girl . So I suppose it's my son's fault." His dad said and I smirk at Brooklyn . His dad is literally the kindest dad ever .

"You could say that." I laugh and joke a bit because I really thought it was funny . He's really such a pain in the ass so he kind of deserve that .

"So to fix this , me and Victoria want to invite you to a dinner in our house . Brooklyn's cousins will be there as well you should join us tomorrow night ." His dad said . What ?! Did he just invite me to a family's dinner ? Just because he thinks that Brooklyn is such a pain to me ?

Brooklyn turns to me as he shakes his head gesturing me to say no , he looks in horror at me like his whole family is going to eat me if I go . I smirk at him knowing what should I do , oh this is gonna be fun . I need to get him back .

"I'm not sure if Brooklyn would like to." I said as I hold my laugh , he roll his eyes at me clearly upset . Oh how I enjoy this moment .

"Yes he is , Brooklyn you'd like Clary to have dinner with us right ?" David asks Brooklyn who frown and shots a death glare at me .

"Um ... I don't know dad I don't think she's not busy . I mean she's always busy ." He said obviously he can't say no to his dad , he look at me and mouth 'no' multiple times and shakes his head but he roll his eyes because I just smirk at him .

"Are you busy Clary ?" His dad asks me not believing Brooklyn . Brooklyn nods at me gesturing to say 'yes' that I'm busy .

"No I'm not busy for tomorrow night . sure , I'd like to . Thanks for inviting me." I said as I smirk and look to Brooklyn who gasp at my answer .

"Great then ! Well see you later Clary ." His dad said as he hung up from the phone call .

"Why in the hell did you said yes ?" Brooklyn said as he glares at me , I just smirk at him .
