Chapter 12 - Have a nice sleep

-Clary's POV-

After looking for clothes on my whole closet , like literally the whole of it . I still don't know what to wear , oh my God this is just a struggle of being a girl . Especially when you are invited to have dinner in a guy's family for the first time ever .

So after literally forever I decide to just randomly choose the dress , because I obviously can't choose . Yes I told my mom that I'm going to have dinner in the beckhams house and of course she's freaking out , not because they are the beckhams but most likely because it's a guy family . Now no matter how hard I'm denying it she's positive that Brooklyn is my boyfriend , luckily she's fine with the fact if I have a boyfriend .

It's almost seven p.m. and I've done everything I need to , I just need to put on a dress . I wear a black floral skater dress and let my hair in my natural wavy . Brooklyn has texted me his address and I took a cab cause it's raining right now , but it's a light one and I can't cancel a dinner with the beckhams right ? .

So here I am , standing in front of his house , it's a beautiful white house with almost identical houses surrounding it . I knock and just wait , my heart is beating faster and faster each minutes . As finally Brooklyn show up and he lead me inside .

"Hello , you must be Clary . I'm so happy to finally meet you." A very gorgeous woman aka Victoria greets me as I step inside their house .

"Thanks for inviting me Mrs.Beckham." I said really really awkward , I really don't know what to say on this situation .

"Oh just call me Victoria." She said as she smile nicely at me . David Beckham greets me and told me just to call him David too , God please don't make me say something really stupid .

"Brooklyn could you tell the kids to go downstair ? Dinner is ready ." Victoria said as Brooklyn mutter 'sure' to her . "Oh take Clary with you , Brooklyn so you can show her around."

Victoria said as her and her husband go the kitchen , leaving me and Brooklyn .

"C'mon." Brooklyn said as he make his way and I follow him from behind . This house is really beautiful and did I mention that it's huge . As we make our way upstairs the sound of rain it's getting louder which means it's raining really hard right now .

"Dinner is ready , come on." He said as he open a bedroom's door revealing two of his brother and a boy and a girl who I don't recognize playing with a little girl which I assume is Harper .

"Hi , I'm Cruz . You must be the girl mom told us." The little one said as I smile at him . Wow god bless the Beckham's gen .

"I'm Clary." I said and smile at Cruz as he walk first and go downstair alone . Brooklyn go inside the bedroom to pick his little sister Harper as I stand in the door frame .

"Hi Clary , I'm Romeo . I don't know why would you date Brooklyn , he's really annoying." Romeo said as I laugh at him .

"Ayy I'm so agree with you." I said as I give him a high five , and he laugh at me .

"I can hear what you say." Brooklyn shouts from inside , me and Romeo just laugh at him .

"Oh by the way we're not dating." I told Romeo and he shrug .

"I thought you two are dating." He said as Brooklyn walk to us with Harper's hand in his hand .

"No we're not Romeo , go downstair." Brooklyn said as he roll his eyes at Romeo who walk away just as what Brooklyn told him so .

"Romeo wait ." A girl who looks like Romeo's age came out from the room . I suppose she's Brooklyn's cousin . "Oh hi ! I'm Tanya."
