Chapter 3 - As my date ?

-Clary's POV-

"Oh my God that was hilarious !" Seb said as we still trying to manage our laughter after we watched 'Blended' in the movie . Nice choice ! the movie was completely hilarious , my stomach even hurts from laughing so much .

"I know right !" Mike said and finally I can stop laughing , my stomach hurts right now I really need to stop .

"Are you guys still on for tonight ?" Max ask us and I don't have any idea what is tonight .

"What's tonight ?" Anne ask just when I was about to ask .

"A party at Noel's our friend , he invites us and of course tell us to bring a date." Mike explain and he looks at Cassie , Cassie laughs and Mike kind of lean in and they kiss .

Not really wanna see Mike and Cassie kissing I turn around , but then I saw Brooklyn staring at them , his face doesn't really look happy . What's up with his expression ? Jealousy maybe ? I think he might like Cassie I mean who's not , she's pretty , kind , and ugh just perfect . But it's sad for Brooklyn knowing that his crush ending up with his best 'mate' .

Reality sucks man .

"Mike's with Cassie , he's all good how about us ?" Seb said and he fake crying I just laugh at him .

"You two wanna come ?" Max ask me and Anne .

"Well , I don't know Noel so it's obvious that we aren't invited." I say at Max and Anne nod in agreement , they just laugh at us .

"I mean you two can come as our date." Max said and Brooklyn and Seb nod in agreement at Max's idea .

"But there's just two of them ? we're three" Brooklyn said .

"Well , I might want to invite someone." Seb mutter and Max fake gasp at him .

"Why don't you tell us ?" Max said and Seb chuckle . "So that's left two of us , Brooklyn . Mike what would you feel if I take your sister as my date ?"

Mike laugh and I look at Anne , she's laughing as well but I can see that she's blushing . Wait , but that's means that I'll be with Brooklyn ?

"I don't want any guy to get near Anne but since it's you I guess I could trust you Max , go and ask her yourself ." Mike said .

"So Anne will you go with me ?" Max ask looking straight at Anne .

"Sure."

Brooklyn move near me as we walk back to Mike's car .

"So umm , Seb's with Anne so will you go as my date . It's up to you really , it's okay if you don't want to." he said kind of making sure it's not loud .

"Sure." I said trying to not blushing . I mean I don't really know him yet this is my first party with a date and he's happen to be the guy .

"Great." He said chuckling and I kind of join him , how can a hottie doesn't has a date .

"Well , I'll text you what time I'll pick you up." He said , we walk behind everyone so nobody's really hearing us they kinda busy talking to each other too .

"Umm , you don't have my number ?" I chuckle at him and it's coming out more like a question . I never remember giving him my number .

"Oh yeah ... that's right." He said awkwardly as he chuckle to himself too . He hand me his phone and I write down my number . "So I'll text you later ?"

"Okay." I swear this conversation is awkward as hell , I'm glad that we finally arrive at Mike's car .

Me , Anne , Mike , and Cassie get in Mike's car while Seb , Max , and Brooklyn keep walking ahead . They come with another car remember ?

"So what are you gonna wear ?" Anne ask me , as Mike and Cassie get lost in their own conversation .

"I don't know , I haven't been in so many party before." I said to Anne , I kinda regret why would I said yes to go to that party . But it's Brooklyn Beckham who's asking you , you couldn't say no right ?

"Can I just get ready in your house , I mean so Max and Brooklyn will pick us together . I don't really like being alone with Max is just so awkward." She chuckles and I kinda surprise at what she said , I thought she feels casual with Max .

"You have a crush on him." I clarify her , and yet again I thought that she would like to spend time with her crush but I guess she's just not ready I mean even though Max is her brother's friend still she kind of just know him for like one day ?

"No I'm not , I'm just ... I don't know . But ... okay fine I guess I'll just get ready in my house , I don't want to interrupt you with Brooklyn." She said completely changing her mind in just a matter of second , this girl .

"Brooklyn ? Please I just know him like five hours ago." I said to her .

Why would I agree to go ? I feel like something bad could happen tonight . I just know Brooklyn like five hours ago , yes he seems nice . But he doesn't occasionally spend time with me so I don't really know him . I just know one thing for sure , he's hot af .
