The door Bell ringing continuesly.....
opened to reveal Radha...
"Good morning, Arav! Here to wake the sleeping beauty again?"
Arav grinned. "Morning, Radha Auntie ! Yep, duty calls. Is he still out cold?"
Radha chuckled. "You know him too well. He was up late last night, probably watching those tech tutorials again. You might need to use extra measures today."
Arav laughed. "I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. Mind if I head up?"
"Go right ahead," Radha said, stepping aside to let Arav in. "And thank you, Arav. I don't know what we'd do without you to get him moving in the mornings."
"It's my pleasure, really," Arav replied, heading up the stairs. "Besides, it's fun coming up with new ways to wake him."
He knocked lightly on Summer's door before entering. Summer was, as expected, sprawled across his bed, fast asleep. Arav walked over and gave his shoulder a gentle shake.
"Sammy, time to get up," Arav said in a singsong voice. "You can't miss breakfast again."
Summer groaned and pulled the blanket over his head. "Five more minutes," he mumbled.
Arav smirked. "That's what you said yesterday. Come on, buddy, rise and shine!"
He grabbed the edge of the blanket and gave it a firm tug, revealing Summer's sleepy face. "Seriously, Sammy, your mom's gonna think I'm the only reason you ever make it to class."
Summer blinked up at him, groggy but smiling. "Alright, alright, I'm up. Thanks for the wake-up call, as usual Bastard."
Arav nodded, satisfied. "Good. Now get dressed. We don't want to be late."
As Summer got out of bed and started to get ready, Arav went back downstairs. Radha was waiting in the kitchen with a cup of tea.
"Success?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yep," Arav said, grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl. "He's up and getting ready. I think he'll make it on time today."
Radha smiled. "You have a special talent, Arav. Thank you for always looking out for him."
"Anything for you Radha Aunty," Arav replied. "We've got each other's backs."
Just then, Summer came down the stairs, looking more awake and ready for the day. "Thanks for the wake-up, Bastard. And thanks, Mom, for not giving up on me."
Radha laughed. "How could I, with you two keeping each other in line? Now, go have a great day, boys."
Arav and Summer exchanged grins, grabbed their bags, and headed out the door, ready to face whatever the day had in store for them.
