Scene: Arav and Summer's Home
After an exhausting but unforgettable trip, Summer and Arav finally reached home. As soon as they entered, Rohan, who had picked them up, smirked at their tired faces.
Rohan: "You both look like zombies. Just go and sleep before you collapse right here."
Arav (yawning): "That's exactly what I plan to do."
Summer (stretching his arms): "Same, I don't even have the energy to argue with you, Rohan."
Rohan chuckled and patted their backs. "Alright, I won't disturb you guys. Get some rest."
Arav and Summer dragged themselves to their room, dropping their bags carelessly on the floor. Without even changing, they both flopped onto the bed, facing each other.
For a moment, there was silence. The room was dimly lit, and the only sound was their slow breathing. Summer stared at Arav, his eyes soft with emotion.
Summer (whispering): "It still feels unreal."
Arav (sleepily smiling): "What does?"
Summer: "That I love you... and that you might love me too."
Arav blinked lazily, a small smile forming on his lips. He didn't say anything, but his hand reached out, gently brushing Summer's fingers.
Arav (murmuring): "Sleep, Sammy."
Summer hummed in response and closed his eyes, feeling warm inside. They both drifted off to sleep, facing each other, their hands almost touching-comforted by the presence of the one they cherished the most.
The next morning, the sun peeked through the curtains, casting a golden glow over the room. Summer stirred awake first, his eyes immediately landing on Arav, who was still asleep. A soft smile played on Summer's lips as he watched his best friend-his love-sleep peacefully.
But then, the memory of their last conversation hit him. Arav had rejected his confession-not because he didn't feel the same, but because of Sriya.
Summer sighed and sat up, running a hand through his messy hair. "I need to fix this," he whispered to himself.
Just then, Arav shifted, slowly waking up. He rubbed his eyes and looked at Summer.
**Arav (groggily):** "You're awake already?"
**Summer:** "Yeah, I was just thinking..."
**Arav (raising an eyebrow):** "About what?"
**Summer (determined):** "About Sriya. I need to clear things up with her. I don't want any misunderstandings between us or anyone else."
Arav sat up properly, looking at Summer with admiration. "That's the right thing to do, Sammy."
Summer nodded. "Will you come with me?"
Arav hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, let's settle this properly."
Before Summer and Arav could continue their conversation, a soft knock interrupted them. The door creaked open, and Summer's mother peeked inside.
**Summer's Mom (smiling):** "Hey, you two, did you wake up?"
She stepped inside, only to pause when she noticed both of them sitting close, looking unusually serious.
**Summer's Mom (raising an eyebrow):** "Is everything okay? You both look... tense."
Summer and Arav exchanged a quick glance before Summer cleared his throat.
