Anather day After class, Summer, Saurav, and Subham are waiting for Prachi and Arav outside the college. Sriya has already left with her friends.
Saurav: (Impatiently) Where did they both go?
Subham: (Glancing at Summer slightly) Saurav, don’t you think Prachi and Arav seem really close lately?
Saurav: (Playing along) Yeah, they do. What do you think, Summer? Do you think they’re dating?
[Summer looks at them, sensing a serious conversation.]
Subham: (Nodding) I think they are. They look good together, don’t they?
[Summer’s face pales slightly, but he doesn’t say anything.]
Saurav: (Casually) Summer, what do you think? Do you think they’re dating?
[Summer doesn’t respond, just looks at Saurav’s face. At that moment, Prachi and Arav come out of the college, laughing and talking.]
Subham: (Pointing) Look at them, they seem so happy together.
[Summer watches them, while Subham and Saurav subtly observe Summer’s reaction.]
Saurav: (Feigning curiosity) Summer, what’s your take on this?
Summer: (Finally speaking, but hesitantly) Uh, I don’t know. Maybe they are. They do look close.
Subham: (Smiling) Yeah, they make a great pair.
Summer tries to hide his discomfort as he continues watching Prachi and Arav, who are oblivious to the conversation. Subham and Saurav exchange a knowing glance, feeling satisfied with their setup.
Saurav: (Gently) Well, we’ll see what happens. Let’s just go and meet them.
They walk towards Prachi and Arav, joining them as they head out together. Summer remains quiet, his mind swirling with mixed emotions.
After Saurav's question, Summer is feeling uneasy and remains quiet in the car. They reach home and park the car. Summer is sitting quietly, looking lost in thought.so arav finally asked .
Arav: (Concerned) Sammy, what happened? Why are you so down?
[Summer looks into Arav’s eyes, seeking answers.]
Summer: (Hesitantly) Arav, do you like Prachi?
[Arav looks back into Summer’s eyes, searching for his own answers.]
Arav: (Reflectively) What about you? Do you like Sriya?
[They continue to look into each other’s eyes, both seeking and fearing the answers. There’s a moment of silence, filled with unspoken words and emotions.]
Summer: (Lowering his face) I don’t know. I don’t know if I like Sriya or not because I don’t feel any emotion with her that I feel with you.
Summer realizes what he just said and looks up at Arav, who is also looking back at him, eyes with surprise.
[Suddenly, there's a knock on the car window, breaking their silence. They both look outside to see Arohi knocking on the door.]
Arohi: (Knocking) What are you guys doing in the car for half an hour? Aren’t you coming out? I have to go!
[Summer lowers the window, and Arohi looks at them curiously.]
Summer: (Casually) Hey, Aru Di. Where are you going?
Arohi: (Smiling) I have to go shopping with my friends for my friend’s wedding.
[Summer and Arav step out of the car, still processing their conversation, while Arohi heads off to her car.]
Arav: (Watching Arohi leave, then turning to Summer) So... about what you said...
Summer: (Nervously) Yeah, let’s... let’s talk about it later. You should head inside now.
Arav - are you not coming inside?(Still looking his eye)
Summer - (nervously) no....I will see you tomorrow morning.
They both nod, still feeling the weight of their words, and walk towards the house, silently agreeing to revisit the conversation when they’re ready.
