Arav and Summer's first day at Brighton University was filled with excitement and nervous anticipation. They both are thrilled to know about their new life .
They navigated the campus together, maps in hand, marveling at the impressive buildings and lush green spaces. Their first class was Introduction to Psychology, a subject they had both chosen out of curiosity.
As they entered the lecture hall, they were greeted by a sea of unfamiliar faces. Arav felt a flutter of anxiety, but Summer's steady presence beside him was comforting. They found seats near the middle of the room, pulling out their notebooks and pens.
They chatted quietly, occasionally glancing around the room to observe their new classmates.
"Looks like a pretty diverse crowd," Summer remarked, scanning the rows of students.
"Yeah," Arav replied, "I wonder if we'll make any friends here."
As the lecture hall filled up, a guy with short hair and glasses walked in and sat a few rows ahead of them. He immediately pulled out his notebook and started reviewing his notes.
Summer nudged Arav. "Hey, that guy looks like he knows what he's doing. Maybe we should talk to him during the break."
Arav nodded in agreement. "Good idea."
The professor, Dr. Mehta, soon entered and began the class with an engaging introduction to psychology. As the lecture went on, Arav and Summer found themselves genuinely interested in the material.
When the break was announced, Summer turned to Arav. "Alright, let's go talk to him."
They walked up to the guy, who looked up from his notes with a friendly smile.
"Hey," Summer started, "I'm Summer, and this is Arav. Mind if we join you?"
"Not at all," the guy replied. "I'm Saurav."
They all sat down together, and the conversation flowed naturally. They talked about the lecture, their hometowns, and their interests.
As the break ended, Saurav suggested, "Hey, why don't we grab lunch together after class? My roommate Shubham would love to join us too."
"Sounds great," Arav said, smiling.
