39: Just what I needed..

Soldier Boy began chatting to Madison, He asked her off the bat, "So who are you? What are you to the big tough guy out there? Butcher..."

Madison smiled lightly at him and put her plate down, She sat on the couch looking at Soldier Boy and replied, "For starters...i found Butcher through a friend, he is really going to take down Vought and especially Homelander with your help, i'm sure he told you that. I'm also a Supe...hero—"

Soldier Boy tilted his head looking at Madison and chuckled, "so—you have powers?"

Madison nodded at him and then he made a flirty comment towards her, "Since when have they made Supes this hot?

Madison rolled her eyes and then continued.

He was slightly skeptical and Madison scoffed, she replied, "yeah. well—not right now, thanks to you i don't have an ounce of powers, so i'll have to figure that out—"

Madison needed to get some Tempt V in her so she could get her powers back but she wanted to do that after the mission on Soldier Boys revenge with the team.

Soldier Boy looked at her with a serious face, He replied, "i couldn't control it—sorry about that."

Madison lightly smiled at him and changed the subject, "So—just wondering...do you know what a GPS is?"

Soldier Boy shook his head looking at Madison, Madison was shocked but understandable, he was fifty years old and was frozen in time.

Also, a lot has changed since the 1950s.

Soldier Boy responded with a confused face, "no clue."

"Okay—what about google? do you know that one?" Madison asked him and Soldier Boy shrugged, maybe he was frozen longer than she had thought.

Obviously...being he is from WW2.

Meanwhile, Butcher put the trash in the trash and felt some pain in his eyes and he fell to the floor.

He was hurting, He opened his eyes and some yellow lasers shot out on the ground.

Butcher has realized that he powers were now working but he had to control them better.

Butcher stopped it and burned a bit of the concrete.

He was taking a long time because it was sort of hurting him inside, Butcher took out some more pills and took some.

"what's taking Butcher so long?" Madison thought in her head and Soldier Boy finished eating.

"I'm off to bed—unless you want to do something..." Soldier Boy told her with a convincing and very charming face, that however almost never worked with Madison.

Madison rolled her eyes and gave some attitude, "right—you're like a typical man from the 1930s...you can go to bed."

Soldier Boy smirked at her loving the attitude and finding it weird because all woman that he's ever been with are always into him, any woman it didn't matter.

"strange. no one ever declines my offer, huh." Soldier Boy commented and looked at Madison with a charming face, Madison rolled her eyes once more and was sort of hating his ego now.

"let this be a first." Madison told him and he smiled in shock but loving the sass.

"...You can go to bed, i'll wait until Butcher comes back because we need to figure out this sleeping arrangement. There's only one bed and a couch...because apparently the hotel was a full house tonight," Madison was annoyed and said with an annoyed tone, Soldier Boy smirked at her.

Soldier Boy with a serious face walked over to the couch and laid there to sleep.

Madison looked at him and scoffed without believing him and she honestly thought he was joking because most men would rather sleep on a comfy bed than a rough couch, but he was different or more so traditional than other men nowadays, "so you're going to sleep on the couch?"

Soldier Boy smirked while facing away from her and commented, "looks like it sweetheart, have fun on your pretty little bed."

He meant it as a tease and not in a rude way, Madison smiled.

Butcher opened the door and saw Soldier Boy passed out and Madison looked at him not believing that he took so long just for the 'trash'

"about time." Madison told him with an annoyed face and Butcher shrugged while slightly smiling, "was he a bother?"

Butcher looked at him snoring and back at Madison, Madison told him, "No. What was a bother is you..leaving me alone—with him but, turns out he was actually a decent guy, i've met worse. He sure as hell gave me a better first impression than you."

Soldier Boy not fully being asleep and still in the room smiled at her remarks.

She snapped at him and took many stabs at Butcher and Butcher loved Madison's airtime and couldn't get mad at her.

"well—i'm happy about that...i was just not feeling too well but i'm alright now, took some pills. We should sleep because tomorrow will be a long day, we have a long ride ahead of us..." Butcher responded back to Madison and Madison nodded and asked him, "are you okay? if your not feeling well...we could..."

Butcher interrupted her and gave her a serious face, "cancel the plan? like that's gonna do shit...we have to follow through. It's all i've ever wanted Madison, to get rid of Homelander. And we are halfway there..."

Madison nodded and looked at Butcher understanding, "so...you want to sleep on the bed? or?"

Madison pointed to Soldier Boy and Butcher didn't really want to sleep next to Soldier Boy so he decided to sleep next to Madison and she let him, they already screwed each other, what's the difference by sleeping with each other right next to one another?
