Hiccup's POV

Telling Heather and Astrid had gone surprisingly well. They at first had been angry that they hadn't known before. We had then explained that since there was so little evidence on the guy, we couldn't exactly pinpoint if he even existed, let alone was a threat.

Now, we knew both.

That meant that our Northern Markets mission was a go. Last time we went, it had been an absolute screw up. I had been recognized, Astrid had almost been stabbed, Heather had been kidnapped for a few minutes (which she had broken out of, don't worry.), and Eret had been a part of Drago's team then.

As we flew through the air, we developed a plan. "I think that Hiccup should be put on scout duty," Heather called from windshear's back.

"Wait, why?" Eret asked.

I would have flicked my helmet down if I was wearing my dragon scale armor, but I wasn't. "Did you just try to put your helmet down without a helmet?" Astrid laughed. The others joined too, laughing at their leader, how rude.

"What gave you that idea?" I laughed. God, I loved seeing her smile. The way her smile reached her eyes and they got brighter was so beautiful.

"Guys," Eret spoke. "Why is Hiccup on scout duty?"

"Last time we were here, they recognized him. Everything went downhill after that," Heather explained. Eret nodded in understanding. "But that doesn't explain why you don't want us armored up." Heather's point was reasonable enough.

"Our armor is for protection, not subtlety. Bringing that into the Northern Markets would draw too much attention to us. We don't exactly need that," I started. "Northern markets, up ahead."

We landed on the beach with the Sandbuster, a dragon that would pull things through the sand into its lair. It had been an experience for sure, to try and get out of there.

"Alright," Astrid stated. "Hiccup, you and I will stay on scout duty. Heather and Eret, you guys go find the man who told you about the sigil."

"He should be on the west side near the pub," I added. "If he's too drunk, grab him and run. We'll get answers through him one way or another, all right?"

Eret snorted, grabbing the map of the markets from his bag. "A kidnapping? I thought you were above that Haddock."

"Nobody's above some good ol' kidnapping," Heather grinned, punching Eret slightly in the shoulder.

"Yeah," Astrid agreed. "You tried to kidnap me and Hiccup when you first met us."

"You actually kidnapped me though!" Eret exclaimed.

"It was 'turning you over to the good side," Astrid argued. "Not a kidnapping."

"It was a great idea, that's what it was," I interjected with a snort.

"Thank you hiccup," Astrid responded.

"It was a kidnapping, I tell you. A kidnapping!"Eret disagreed.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever it was, it turned you over and made you help us which was great. Now, all you need to do is go and do your job please and find a lead."

"Alright," Heather said. She patted herself down a bit, getting rid of the dirt. "Bye windshear." She rubbed her dragon's nose and patted her dragon's neck. "Don't screw anything up!" Heather called in a singsong voice, her and Eret making their way towards the markets.

"Goes for you too!" I called back in the same singsong voice.

So now, I was left with my fiancé, and four dragons.
