-Meanwhile on the Smot Side-

Dreamer and Reagan sat together in class. "Can you believe the royals go to school with us now?" Dreamer asked. "You mean the Skip princess?" Reagan asked. "Yeah, but also our own prince and princess." Dreamer said. "When did that happen?" Reagan asked confused. Dreamer rolled her eyes and ignored her. "I'm just so excited. Not everyone gets to learn along side royalty!" She squealed excitedly. Reagan just blinked a few times. "Yes they do. This is the only open school in Smot." She said confused. Dreamer huffed. "I don't understand the big deal. They're just normal people. The Skip princess looked like she was really nice." Reagan said. "She's a spit! She's anything but nice. God, do you listen to anything Sydney tells us?" Dreamer spat. "Oh come on! You of all people should know how mean Sydney is. Everyone that she tells us is mean is usually actually nice!" Reagan protested. Dreamer looked aside for a moment. "She's Skip royalty Reagan. We have to stay away... or we could be killed. Sydney wasn't lying about that." she said. Reagan looked down. "I wish I lived in Skip." She mumbled.

"I thought you weren't coming to tryouts." Skylar high-fived Glaze. "I'm not here to try out. I just needed to make sure Slush was here." he said. "He's over there with Frost. Why?" Skylar asked. Glaze sighed. "Slush told me something, and I can't tell you, but basically, he might leave Sydney for some spit girl." He explained. "Oh shit really?" Skylar asked. Glaze nodded. "And the girl doesn't even know he exists." He said. "Damn... you think I could scoop Sydney after he dumps her?" Skylar asked. "Maybe- wait- what?! I thought we all mutually agreed that Sydney was the root of all evil and possibly the worst person on the planet." Glaze said, shocked. "Maybe she is, but she's also hot as hell! If Slush wants to get himself killed over a spit, let him! I'm taking his girl after they lynch him." Skylar exclaimed. Glaze just stared at him for a moment. "Wow man. That was a little aggressive. You remember that he's your friend right?" He asked. "I'm friends with you. I don't know that I'd call your pretty boy brother or the not-jock my friends." Skylar clarified. Glaze sighed and looked over at the field. "Is Frost getting any better?" he asked. Skylar shook his head. "He can't catch a ball to save his life, or throw one for that matter. He's one hell of a runner though. He might be better suited for track." He said. They watched as Slush and Frost ran along side each other, and Frost tripped on the air. "He can't do track. He can't run long distances" Glaze pointed out. Skylar shrugged. "Then he's out of luck. I don't know what else he could play." he said. Skylar ran over the boys and started yelling at Frost. Glaze turned to leave but someone crashed into him. "Crap! I'm sorry. Are you ok?" The boy asked. Glaze backed up a little and looked up at the guy. "Yeah I'm ok. Are you?" He asked. The guy nodded. "Sorry about that. I'm Nacho." He introduced himself. "Glaze. Are you on the team?" Glaze asked. "Oh god no. I'm an athletic trainer. And I'm on that side." Nacho pointed behind Glaze. "Oh! You're a Skip." he said. Nacho nodded. "I don't know if you've heard, but my brothers and I throw some of the best parties in our kingdom. We've recently extended the invites to Smot residents. So here, take this, invite your friends, and come have some fun if you're free." He handed Glaze an invite. He smiled at it. "Thanks. I'll think about it." He said.

-Later that Night-

Dakota got home late, as usual. The lights throughout the condo were still on and he huffed in annoyance. "Dill! What did I say about leaving the lights on! Our bills don't pay themselves you know!" He called into the room. Dakota turned off the lights as he walked into the living room. Dill, his cousin, sat on the couch, watching tv. "How many times do I have to tell you I don't care before you get the memo?" Dill asked. "Go ahead, keep saying that. I'll stop paying for cable." Dakota hissed. "Ugh. You dick." Dill groaned. Dakota smirked. "So, what were you up to tonight?" Dill asked. "I got food, walked around, nothing special. Although, I did get a girls number today." He said. "You... did?" Dill looked over suspiciously. He had seen Dakota talk to the princess earlier and was worried that it might be her. "Yeah. That new girl from Skip. She's actually pretty funny. She actually got my jokes." Dakota smiled. Dill's eyes widened. "Are you insane? Do you know who she is?!" He exclaimed. "She's hot and funny. What else matters? I know you have problems with Skips, but that stuff doesn't bother me. So I don't see a problem." Dakota said. Dill just stared at him in utter shock and disbelief. He wasn't about to tell Dakota the truth though. "Fine. Go ahead and screw yourself over. When you're on death row, I'm not vouching for you." Is what he said instead. Dakota thought nothing of the comment and just rolled his eyes. "You're being dramatic. Goodnight." He walked to his room. "Night." Dill said.

-BREAKING NEWS-

"Hello Skip!" A man exclaimed. "And hello Smot!" A woman exclaimed. "I'm Brutus Bux." The man smiled. "And I'm Leona Par." The woman smiled. "And this is your midnight news!" The two exclaimed. "Bringing you the same news from this morning, but with slight updates." Brutus explained. "That's right Brutus. How's your night been?" Leona asked. "It's been great so far. Why don't you tell us what's going on in Smot?" Brutus asked. "Well, a peaceful protester has been spotted, yet again, outside the royal castle. We got to interview him this morning, so let's take a look." Leona said.

"Excuse me, sir? My name's Leona Par. I'm with the local news. Would you mind answering a few questions?" She asked. The man holding a picket sign, looked over. "Sure." He shrugged. "What's you're name?" Leona asked. "Dougie." He replied. "And what exactly are you protesting Dougie?" Leona asked him. "I'm protesting against homophobia! King Tinsel is just mad because he fell for a lesbian and she told him off. People should have the right to love whoever they want. It's not up to him!" Dougie ranted.

The clip ended. "Wow. He's certainly full of spirit, isn't he?" Brutus laughed. "Yeah. We had to cut the tape because he ranted about it for an hour." Leona huffed a laugh. "Anyway, what's new with Skip, Brutus?" she asked. "Not much since this morning Leona. So! Are you ready for the mixed report?" Brutus asked. "You know it." Leona nodded. "For tonight's mixed report, we're here to announce that the royal children from both of our kingdoms have entered the public school system." Brutus started. "That's right. Princess Frights of Skip, Princess Glitzy of Smot, and Prince Alpine of Smot, are all attending the same school." Leona clarified. "What?!" The cameraman yelled. Brutus and Leona looked at him weird and then went back to the camera. "And that's all for tonight folks." Leona said. "Yep. Have a nice night. We hope you sleep well, and we will see you in the morning." Brutus signed off and the cameras cut.

"What was that about Presents?" Leona asked, walking to the cameraman. "Yeah. You know you're not supposed to talk when we're recording." Brutus added. "I know. I'm sorry. I didn't read that far in the script. It was... a real shock honestly." Presents said. "Yeah, we heard." Leona crossed her arms. "Why's it such a shock? It's not like we have any real connection to them." Brutus shrugged. Presents went stiff. "Yeah, I don't know. I guess I just... like politics? I don't know. Anyway, I better get home. Make sure the boys are asleep." He said. "Tell Cookie and Tuffy we said hi." Leona said. "I will. See you guys in the morning." Presents said. "Come on babe. Lets go home." Brutus took Leona's hand and they left. Presents just stood there in his own thoughts for a moment. "Oh minty... what did you do?" He mumbled to himself. He thought for a moment more and then packed up his things, and went home.
