The Tensions of Skip and Smot

-At the Party-

Nacho and Alpine were having a blast in his room. They played games and talked all night. Alpine had a few drinks and became very chatty. "Remember when you asked why my kingdom was homophobic?" He asked. Nacho nodded. "Well, I'm supposed to tell you this, but I'm going to anyway. A long time ago, when our kingdoms were allies, the kings of each of our lands wanted the kingdoms to merge. So! They had betrothed Princess Potion and Prince Tinsel when the two were very young. Tinsel had it pounded into his mind every day that this girl would be his wife. Potion only found out when she was sixteen. But by that time, Potion had discovered that she was a lesbian. So when Tinsel came to officially propose to her, she turned him away in front of an entire crowd and he was humiliated! So their engagement was off and my father went crazy! So he married the first woman in his castle he came across and became king. Then he changed all of our equality laws and pitted our kingdoms against each other." Alpine ranted. Nacho was stunned. "That's crazy." He said. "Yeah but I don't care. I like guys. They're hot. Like you! You're hot." Alpine said. Nacho laughed. "You're drunk." he huffed. "Doesn't mean I'm not serious!" Alpine smiled. "Tell you what, if you can tell me that when you're sober, we'll make it a date." Nacho smiled. "Deal!" Alpine said. 

Valor was at a table with all of his friends. Spotter, Tuffy, Pablo, Cookie, and Sugar were all together. Buckwheat had brought Lindi to sit with them too. "So you two are going out?" Valor asked Tuffy. "Took him long enough." Pablo punched Tuffys arm. "I hope dad is ok." Cookie said. "Why do you say that?" Tuffy asked. Cookie gestured back across the room and Tuffy looked. Presents had just talked with Glitzy again and now they were hugging. "Looks like we got a sister!" Cookie high-fived Tuffy. "Yeah and here she comes." Spotter pointed out. Glitzy came over to the table and smiled nervously. "Hi. Sorry to bother you." She started. "You're no bother. Come on sister. Let's talk." Cookie stood up. He, Tuffy, and Glitzy stepped aside to talk. "Aren't you glad you've already met your sister?" Spotter asked Valor. "Somedays no, I'm really not." He laughed. "I love my siblings. I don't care when I met them. Oh hey! Speaking of, there's my brother." Lindi smiled. Ramsey and Fluffy came to the table hand in hand. "Ok guys! This is who I kept talking about. Meet my girlfriend Fluffy." Ramsey introduced her. Fluffy smiled and waved. "Nice to meet you. He loves talking about his Smot girl." Spotter said. Ramsey rolled his eyes. "Thats Spotter. And that's my sister Lindi and her boyfriend Buckwheat." Ramsey said. "Oh! Ram, tell Jewel I'm staying at Bucky's tonight." Lindi said. "Yeah I think she knows." Ramsey huffed. 

While Fluffy and Ramsey talked with the group, Valor's eyes drifted elsewhere. Reagan tripped off the dance floor after someone had accidentally bumped into her. Valor stood up and went to help her. "Are you alright?" he helped her up. "Yes. Thank you." She smiled up at him. Valor smiled softly at her. "You look beautiful." he said mindlessly. Reagan was just as mindless. "You think so? Well you're awfully handsome." She giggled. "I'm Valor. Would you like to dance?" he asked nervously. "I'm Reagan, and yes. I would." she smiled.

When the couples left to dance, Spotter went back to shuffling cards. Skylar had gotten a drink, but now came back to the table. He handed Spotter a beer. "Thanks. You ready to get your ass kicked again?" Spotter asked. "You got lucky is all. You've got no chance now." Skylar challenged. "We'll see about that, smutty jock." Spotter growled. 

"God I love you." Dakota laughed. "I love you too!" Frights laughed with him as they danced together. They had been having the best time together. "So how'd you get Dill to let you go?" Frights asked. "Simple! He doesn't know I'm here." Dakota said. Frights laughed. "Yeah I think he knows. There's no way he doesn't know." She giggled. "Maybe, but it's too late now." Dakota shrugged. They danced together for a little longer before they heard someone yelling. Everyone heard it and looked over to see the fight. Skylar had lost again. "You cheated!" he shouted. "You're just bad smut boy! I didn't cheat!" Spotter shouted. They went back and forth, and when Skylar had enough, he flipped the table and pounced on Spotter. The two started a brawl right there on the floor. This wouldn't have been such a problem, had the cops not been outside. The cops always stayed close during these parties just in case, and now they were coming in. Pablo broke up the fight and Nacho ran downstairs. "Get the Smots out of here! Get them to safety!" Nacho yelled. Everyone started rushing out the doors. Valor ran to Frights. "Come on your majesty, we have to go! The cops can't know you were here!" Valor shouted. "Your majesty?!" Dakota shrieked. Frights panicked. "Dakota I can explain!" she grabbed his hand. "Princess, lets go!" Firecracker grabbed her arm. "Smots you have to go now!" Nacho yelled. Dakota had no choice but to run off with the crowd and Frights had no choice but to leave. 

-Leaving the Party-

"You told him. He's never gonna talk to me again." Frights moped. Valor was driving home and  Firecracker sat in the passenger seat. "I'm sorry. But we were in a rush. That could have been a lot worse." Fire said. Frights tried to text Dakota in the car but he wouldn't answer. 

When they got home, Frights stormed to her room without a word. She stormed right past her parents who stopped their daughters guards immediately. "Explain." Shadow ordered. "Her Smot boyfriend found out she was the princess and now he isn't talking to her. Also the party got shut down by the cops." Firecracker explained. "What? Is everyone alright?" Shadow asked. "Besides Frights heart, yeah." Valor replied. "The boy is from Smot?!" Potion panicked. She immediately went after Frights but Shadow stopped her. "You can't be mad at her for falling in love." She growled. "I know that!" Potion snapped. They were all taken back. "Guards, you're dismissed." Potion retained eye contact with Shadow. The two left and then Shadow let Potion go. "I'm not going to see her to yell, Shadow. I'm going because I know how it feels to have your heart broken by someone who finds out you're royal." Potion explained. Shadows eyes softened. "I apologized for that." she said. "I know my dear, and I forgive you. Just please, let me do this." Potion requested. Shadow smiled softly and nodded. "Let me know if you need anything, dear. I love you." she said. "I love you too." Potion smiled
