-At the Party-
Firecracker was now determined to keep an eye on the Smot royals. She didn't trust them one bit. Nacho has disappeared with the Smot prince, so she went after the princess. Glitzy had not noticed Firecrackers death glare, and was having a good time. At some point, she went to a table in the back to get a quick snack. There in the corner though, was Presents, who had been watching over the party. When Glitzy saw him, she was startled. "Oh! You scared me." She laughed it off. He smiled at her. "Sorry about that. I'm just watching over the party. I'm the 'adult supervision.'" Presents said. "Nice to meet you, Mr.-?" Glitzy asked. "You can call me Presents. And it's nice to meet you too Glitzy." He said. "You know my name?" She asked stunned. "You're the princess. Of course I do." He smiled. "Oh! Right. I guess I was hoping not to be noticed as much in Skip." She shrugged. Firecracker was listening to this conversation and rolled her eyes at that comment. As if Glitzy wouldn't be recognized. "I actually used to live in Smot. I worked as a guard at your castle." Presents told her. "Really? That's cool. Why'd you leave?" She asked. "Your mother sent me here to protect me from your father." He explained. "What? Why would she have to do that?" Glitzy asked confused. "Because she and I were dating before your father decided to marry her, and she was pregnant." Presents explained. "Oh yeah. I remember father saying that their marriage was arranged... wait she was what?!" Glitzy shrieked. Firecracker was in shock, but still remained hidden. "You're my dad?!" Glitzy asked. Presents nodded. "Peppermint asked me not to reach out to you to keep our secret safe. To keep you safe. I'm so sorry about all of this." He said. Glitzy just stared at him in shock. She was at a loss for words. "Glitzy, I-" Presents reached out his hand but she backed away in fear. "Step away from the princess sir!" Firecracker butted in and they were both shocked. Firecracker took Glitzys arm and pulled her close. "I heard it all. Let me help you." she whispered. Glitzy nodded and the girls walked away together.
Firecracker took her outside. "Are you alright?" she asked. Glitzy leaned back against the wall and looked down. "I don't know. This means... I'm not royalty. I'm not next in line. I'm a fraud and I didn't even know." She said. Firecracker stepped to her. "Hey, you're not a fraud. I'll admit I've called you some things in the past but you're not a fraud. They should have never done this to you." she said. "No... it wasn't their fault. It was Tinsel... it was all Tinsel!" Glitzy realized. "The king? What about him?" Fire asked. "He caused all of this! He- no I'm not supposed to tell you." Glitzy shook her head. "Then don't. But you have to talk to Presents. He's a nice guy and I'm sure all he wants to get to know you. He's got two sons. Your brothers." Fire said. "Ugh- because that's what I need is more brothers." Glitzy groaned. Firecracker huffed a laugh. "Look, if something bad happens, you just give me a shout. I'll protect you, alright?" Fire said. "Why?" Glitzy asked. "It's my duty to protect the royals. That includes you." Firecracker held out her hand. Glitzy stared at Firecracker in awe for a moment before taking it. "Thank you- um?" She said. "Firecracker." she introduced herself.
Slush could not keep his eyes off of Frights, especially after Dakota arrived and she was all up on him. "She said she couldn't be with a Smot! She lied to me." he pouted. "You talked to her already?!" Glaze asked shocked. Slush nodded. Glamour and Glazes plan was out the window now. They were just glad the princess had standards. "Slush you already have a girlfriend. That would have been cheating you know." Glamour said. Slush was over Sydney at this point, and that comment was all he needed. "You're right. Sydney!" He walked to her. Glaze and Glamour panicked. "Hey Slush. I actually wanted to talk to you about something." Sydney said nervously. "Me first. I'm breaking up with you." Slush said proudly. Glaze and Glamour were stunned into silence. They just watched in shock as Sydney's face fell. "So I was right! You're leaving me for that spit princess! You're a traitor Slush! I'll have you arrested!" Sydney yelled. Slush remained calm. "It's not for her Sydney. She's taken already. I'm leaving you because you're an awful person and I can't stand being around you!" Slush snapped. Glaze almost passed out from his brothers bravery. Sydney wanted to scream. She wanted to yell at Slush until her voice was gone, but she didn't. She simply marched to Glamour and snatched her arm. "We're leaving." She growled. "I'm not." Glam pulled her arm back. "Excuse me?" Sydney asked. "I'm staying to have fun with my friends and my boyfriend. You have no right to drag me or the girls around. Dreamer is happy. I'm happy. Reagan is... somewhere. Can't you just leave us alone!" Glam snapped. Tears came to Sydney's eyes. The weight of it all was too much for her. So she left, silently, without her entourage.
"Ugh!" Slush slumped into a seat at the bar. Sherbet raised an eyebrow at him. "What is the strongest thing here?" he asked her. She smirked. "A pretty boy like you couldn't handle it." She said. "Try me. I just broke up with the biggest bitch at school and doomed all my friends. Just give me the drink!" He snarled. Sherbets eyebrows shot up and she slid him a glass. Slush swung back the drink and choked on it as it went down his throat. "Ah! Is that what real alcohol tastes like?" He groaned. Sherbet laughed. "Told ya. And that wasn't the strongest. I can make way stronger. That was a club soda, which isn't even alcohol. Are you ok pretty boy?" She asked. Slush sighed. "I guess. I'm just realizing how much I was missing with Sydney. I mean, you're the first woman I've talked too outside of Sydney's circle and I already wish I had dumped her sooner." He groaned. "I'm flattered you think so high of me. I'm Sherbet." She said. "Slush... I'm sorry to vent to you like this." he said. "No problem. Thats what bartenders are for." She winked at him and he laughed. "You go to school with me right? On the Skip side?" He asked. She nodded. "Well, if you're not busy during gym, maybe we can hang out? You seem pretty cool and I don't have any girl friends." Slush smiled. Sherbet giggled. "We'll see pretty boy. As long as you stop flirting with my girl, we should be cool." she said. "You're friends with the princess?" He asked. "She's actually pretty chill." Sherbet shrugged. Slush smiled. "Well, I'm gonna head home but, I hope I see you soon." He said. "Yeah. I'll see you around pretty boy." She winked.
