I pricked the tip of my left index finger with the dagger from Malik-san.

A sharp, stinging pain surged for a second before blood started welling up and flowing out. I quickly extended my index finger toward Altair and Spica, who had been waiting excitedly. It would be a waste if a drop of it were to fall to the ground so I told them to lick it up now.

"Nh.. Alright. You two can lick it now. Be gentle, okay?"

The two of them eagerly latched onto the blood like a hungry dog.

『Mmnh... Delicious. Ah, Master's magic is tasty indeed~』

Spica was the first one that removed himself from my finger. He began licking his mouth, trying to get any of the blood that got stuck to his white fur.

The red blood stood out against his pure white fur, making me worried if it would leave a stain or not but since Spica was licking it eagerly, it should be fine. The fur would be clean after a while.

『Fuah!~ Master! Thank you!』

Altair looked satisfied too. He rubbed his belly with his wing as he thanked me.

Can both of them feel full just from that small amount of blood...?

"Fufu~ I promised you that I would give you my blood after all. Hmm.. You guys are full now, right? Alright then... 【Heal】"

Even though giving them my magic power through blood was already agreed upon by us as per our contract, they still thanked me politely. I smiled back at them as I used (Heal) on my index finger.

『Master, there's no wound left, right? We're sorry for causing you pain just to feed us...』

Since I was kneeling down, Altair pressed his cheek against my knee. Apologizing to me with his adorable eyes staring straight at me.

Ahh... What is this?! He looks so adorable...

"It's alright. I've gotten used to it so it doesn't hurt as much anymore. Well then, I better go make some food now. Altair, Spica, go rest up, okay? You can do as you please but don't make any mess."

I gently patted Altair's head before standing up from my knees to prepare lunch.

『Alright.』

『Got it!』

"Ren-chan, don't you think you were being a bit suggestive back then?"

Chris-san called out to me with a smirk on his face while I was on my way to the kitchen.

"Huh?"

While I was giving my blood to Altair and Spica, the three of them were either sitting on the sofa or sitting directly on the rug, checking the conditions of their spare weapons. It seemed by the time I realized it, they had already stopped moving and were staring at me intently while I was giving my blood to Altair and Spica.

"You didn't realize? We can't understand Altair and Spica's words so try to recall your portion only."

Sig-san said.
