Chapter 5
BEAU'S POV
I twisted and turned in my bed and gave up at trying to sleep. I had issues. I thought about tonight and a face popped up. Abigail Lopez. I smiled. She was a beautiful girl, but definitely not for me. She screamed innocence. I could never hurt her. Her eyes always showed happiness. Well unless someone got her mad. She was small and fit with beautiful dark locks of hair. It fell down in natural waves when she didn't do anything. She wasn't girly actually the total opposite. She only did her makeup when she went out. She usually wore plain clothes and no makeup to school. She was just one the of those girls who didn't care what people thought about her. She had a dimple on one of her cheeks and she beautifully tan. Her green eyes popped out since her skin was dark. She was just naturally stunning. I sighed. I forbid myself from being her boyfriend. She was just too good for me. I rolled over and fell asleep hoping she wouldn't fall for me and I wouldn't fall for her.

I woke up to the alarm ringing in my ear. Ugh I hate Mondays. I stumbled into the bathroom and brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. I walked back into my room and put on jeans, a red shirt and my red vans. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed toast and juice. When I finished, I grabbed my keys and walked outside to my car. I heard murmuring noises and started looking around. My eyebrows creased in curiosity.
"No. Shoot no this can't be happening Chase!" I heard Abigail yell at her brother.
"What do you want me to do Abby? Carry you to school? The car isn't working."
I smiled and leaned over the gate.
"Hey guys I can take yall to school," I said to them. Their eyes flickered to me and their faces showed relief.
"Thanks bro," Chase said.
They got in my car and kept on arguing. I was sure Abby would knock her brother out in a few seconds. They were giving me a headache. Finally we arrived at school and we all left to our first blocks. I had weight training with Chase so we both walked to the weight room. The coach pushed us really hard and by the time we finished, I was soaked with sweat and everything ached. Sometimes I really hated the teacher. We went to the locker rooms and everyone changed. I was drying my brown hair when the bell rung and I cursed under my breath. I was going to be late to Chemistry! I ran to my locker and got my book out and ran to my class just in time. I sighed. I hated this class. The girls in here were annoying. They flirted and "seduced" making them look ridiculous. A new student walked in. It was a girl. She had blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was wearing skinny jeans, a purple shirt, and flats. She was cute. It looks like she loved attention. She walked in and gave the note to the teacher.
"Class this is Raven Martin. Make her feel welcomed," our teacher Mr.Rob said.
She walked to the seat beside me and gave me a smile.
"What are we doing?" She asked in a sweet voice.
"Workbook pages. Just answer whatever you can. He'll end up giving us the answers," I told her quietly.
She smiled and held out her hand and I took it. It was really soft.
"My names Raven and yours?"
"Beau Ryder."
"Nice to meet you Beau."
"You too Ray."
She raised her eyebrow at me,"I've been in here luterally five minutes and you've already given me a nickname?"
"Yep."
"Cool," she said her hazel eyes shining.
I finished my work and put my head down. I was still tired. I thought about the blonde next to me. She would make a good girlfriend. Time to let go of my fantasy with Abigail. I sighed. The bell wrung and I walked Raven to lunch. She was an amazing conversationalist. I found out that she had moved here because her dad's job transferred him. We both got our plates and sat down next to Chase, Venus, Bryson, Willa and Abigail.
"Hey you guys. This is Raven Martin. She just got here."
My eyes landed on Abigail. She looked ready to pounce. I didn't understand why though. The table echoed in hellos but soon went back to eating. Abigail excused herself from the table and soon Willa followed. I stared curiously after them but continued eating. She came back a few minutes later and didn't say a word. Her eyes were rimmed red and I knew she was crying but I'm not sure why. It pained my heart to look at her this way and not being able to hold her close.
