ABIGAIL'S POV

I watched Beau and the girl Raven. They were both sitting down at our table, laughing. I felt jealousy go through me. How was it so easy for her to become close to him? It had been a week since she had first gotten here, and they were dating. My heart ached for him. I thought he was finally falling for me, but this girl appeared. I just wasn't good for him. I cast my eyes down and a few tears fell. I hastily wiped them away and continued eating. I looked up to see Beau pecking Raven's lips. I felt a pang in mt chest and I excused myself from the table. My brother gave me a questioning look, but I shook my head and mouthed "Later". He nodded and I left the cafeteria. Shane and Willa followed me out as I sat under a tree.

"Baby girl you need to forget him. Obviously he's into someone else. You deserve better," Willa said.

"She's right Abby. You need to look for someone that likes you and you will be there through everything," Shane said.

I sighed,"You guys its hard. I've like him for over a year."

"I know pretty girl, but obviously he's to blind to see you're perfect," Shane said.

I smiled,"Yall are to nice. Come here."

I pulled both of them into a hug. They were my world. We walked back inside, and the bell wrung. We walked to our history class, and started doing our work. I felt the girl behind me, slide a note on my desk. I took it and read it.

Hey Abigail, I was just wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me?

William Browning

I looked around and found the boy who gave me the note. He was really cute. He had black hair and blue/grey eyes. I smiled at him and nodded my head. His eyes lightened up and he shot me a big smile. The bell wrung and he walked me to my locker.

"So, when are we going?" I asked him.

"Umm how about Saturday?"

"That sounds perfect," I said smiling at him bringing me dimple to life.

He kissed my cheek and went to class while I went to my own. I walked into class and paired up with a girl named Jasmine. She was teaching me how to play the guitar. I learned how to play simple songs at first, but now I was learning harder ones. Class finished and we all walked out. William was waiting for me outside of class. I smiled at him. he was being real nice.

"Where are you going Abby?" he asked me.

"The football field."

"Mind if I join?"

"Not at all," I said smiling.

We walked toward the field, and his arm was around me. We sat down and he played with my fingers.

"William, why do you want to take me out on a date?"

"Well, you're really nice and pretty. You have a great personality, and I know that if we get there you'd be an amazing girlfriend."

I blushed,"Thank you."

He smiled at me. I soon found myself hugging him and cuddling into his side. He was really warm. The boys finished their practice, and my brother came running toward me.

"Hey Chase. This is William. William this is my brother Chase," I said introducing them. William took out his hand and Chase shook it.

"Come on sis. We gotta go home," Chase said and walked to his car.

I sighed," So I'll see you tomorrow William."

"Okay," he said and pulled me into a hug. I smiled into his chest. I pulled away and waved at him and walked to my brother's car.

"So, sis who's the boy?" my brother asked me curiously.

"He asked me out an a date, and I said yes," I told him.

"Oh, he looks nice. So, why did you leave at lunch? You've been doing it a lot lately."

I sighed and told him the story. When I finished he was looking at me wide eyed.

"Wow sis. I'm sorry. I didn't know you liked him."

"I know. It hurts," I said and he pulled me into a hug.

We walked inside and I went up to my room. I changed into my pajamas and sat down on my bed. Why did everything have to be so difficult? I pulled my knees to my chest and thought about Beau. I had to forget him. I had to. Or I would never move on. I'd wait for him until he gave me a chance. I didn't wanna do that. I decided that if William did want me to be his girlfriend I would say yes. I had to move on. I had to.
