I saw Liam and his friends walking towards me. I smiled.
"Hey, Amie." Max said, he really was a gentleman, probably the only friend of Liam that was actually nice.
"Hi." I smile.
"So did you and Liam kiss!" Luke said enthusiastically, I'm pretty sure he's supposed to be in year 1 not year 11.
"What?" I ask him, before looking at Liam.
"I told Luke and Sam they had to ask you why we became friends." Liam explained to me.
"Right...well I don't want to say." I say, Luke looks like he wants to say something but before he could the bell rang. Looks like the bell is on my side.

Me and Liam walk to class and sit down.
"Sorry about them." Liam apologizes.
"Don't worry about it." I smile.

Mr Brown comes into the class with a boy.
"Hello year 11's this will be your new classmate, Nate." Mr brown introduced. Nate sat in a seat alone, I wanted to say 'hi' but my awkwardness wouldn't even be able to speak. Luckily, Sam goes and sits next to him. They seem to be getting along quite well, which is a good sign.

As class begun, I took notes. I see from the corner of my eye Liam copying me, I could care less at this point.

At break, I'm walking to find the boys, when I accidentally bump into someone making them drop their books.
"Omg! I'm so sorry!" I apologize, kneeling down to help pick up the books.
"It's fine." The voice says. I look up and see the new kid.
"Nate...right?" I ask.
"Yeah." He nods.
"Do you have any friends, not trying to be rude just a genuine question." Did I have to ask that. He probably thinks I was trying to be rude.
"It's fine, but I don't have any friends." Nate says, not sure what to say.
"Um, what class do you have next, like do you have Mr Brown for all lessons?" I ask. The bell rings, and Nate looks up to see if I had to get going or not. "Take your time." I reassure smiling. Nate just nods and looks at his timetable.
"Yeah." He says, putting his timetable away.
"Okay, follow me." I say, showing him the class.

We walk into lesson late.
"Sorry sir, I was just showing Nate where to go." I apologize.
"It's fine." Mr brown says, continuing his lesson.

I sit down next to Liam.
"What were you doing with, him?" Liam asks in a semi-mad voice. I look at him confused.
"What do you mean? I just said I was helping his get to his next lesson." I say, why is Liam acting like this.
"For the whole of break?" Liam says looking straight ahead not making eye contact.
"Why are you acting like this?" I ask, no reply. "I mean its not like we're together." I say bluntly, Liam just just scoffs and looks away.

The rest of the lesson is silence. I don't know what I'm supposed to say.
"Now everyone we are going on a school trip in a few weeks." Mr Brown says, starting to hand out permission slips. "Now I need these slips back by next Monday. If not, you will not be able to go on the trip."
"Sir, where are we going?" A girl called Lilah asks.
"We will be going to Barcelona to find out about the history of Spain." Mr brown replies. We all get our permission slips. "Now I want you all to write on the paper who you want to share a room with." Mr brown explains.
I don't know who to write. I look over at Liam's paper, he put down Sam. I just don't write anyone down.

After class I didn't talk to Liam, instead I went to lunch with Nate.

"Um, who are you hoping to share a room with, on the trip?" I ask Nate.
"The guy that sits next to me, I think his names Sam..." Nate says.
"Cool. Did Sam put your name down?" I ask him.
"Yeah." Nate says.
"Cool." I smile. Im glad he made a friend, even if that friend is an idiot.
