I have watch as Amie leaves. She obviously wasn't fine, I decide to go to her house.

I knock on her door. I can hear sobbing from the other side of the door, I feel really bad already.
"Mum go away!" I hear on the other side of the door. I knock again.
"Mum i said-" Amie realized it wasn't her mum. She had red puffy eyes from where she had been crying, I felt horrible. "Sorry I thought you were my mum. Why are you here?" Before I say anything I pull her into a hug.
"Knew you weren't fine." I said. I eventually let her go. We walked into her room and she closed the door.

We sat on her bed.
"Now tell me what happened..." I said. She told me what Emma and Phoebe said in the bathrooms. I was shocked. Amie started crying even more.
"Amie, please, you're too pretty to cry." I wipe her tears away. She sniffles.
"You're just saying that." She says. We just sit in comfortable silence for a couple of moments.
"Thanks for coming over." Amie looks over at me.
"Anytime." I say, Amie smiles.
"How are you now?" I ask.
"Better." She sniffs.
"Good." I smile, hugging her again, she hugs me back, this time for a bit longer.
We then let go.
"I should go." I say getting up.
"Be safe." Amie smiles.
"Will do." I smile. Walking out.

When I get home, I still feel a bit worried about Amie. She isn't okay, even if she says she is. I walk through the front door and start heading up the stairs. It's currently 5pm and I was meant to be home at 4, but I went after Amie because I didn't like seeing her upset. As I'm about to walk up the stairs I hear a voice calling my name.

"Liam Evans!" That was the voice of an angry mother. I reverse down the stairs and go to the kitchen where my mother is. My mother is sitting on a stool, behind the island counter.
"Yes, mother." I say. What could she possibly want this time. Because I know she could care less if I didn't come home in time. Pretty sure she'd prefer me to go missing.
"Why are you late? Was it to help with your little bitch?" My mum spat the last part. I knew some people were ruthless, but my mother was heartless. She only cares about herself.
"You haven't even spoken to her! And she's not my girlfriend!" I say loudly, but not too loud to make her get furious with me.
"Hah. Of course she's not! Don't be silly, if she was we'd have no money left!" My mother laughed wickedly.
"How many times do I have to tell you? She's not like that!" I'm practically shouting now, just for her to hear me.
"Don't you dare shout back at me!" My mothers eyes glare straight into mine.
"Why does everything have to be an argument with you?" I begin look at her, waiting for a genuine answer. She stays silent, her eyes fixated on me, not moving.
"I didn't raise you to be so disrespectful." She says in a neutral voice, but still a hint of anger. I scoff.
"You raised me to be like this! To think I'm better than everyone else, just like you!" I yell, my mother stays silent, not saying a word.
"Just go to your room, Liam." She says in her 'I'm the victim' voice.
"Fine! It's better than being down here with you!" I say leaving the kitchen.

As I'm walking up the stairs I see my dad walking down.
"What was all that yelling about?" He asks, stopping for a moment to let me talk, but I carry on walking.
"Ask your wife." I say bluntly.

When I get to my room, I don't know what to do. I can hear the muffled voices of my parents from downstairs. I continue to lay in my bed.

I eventually fell asleep.

When I woke up I realized I didn't change into my pajamas, oh well. I got dressed and looked at my phone. It was 7:30am, I had gotten some messages from Amie. I tapped on the messages to open them.

Amie
Amie: hey. How are you?

Me: good, thanks what about you?

Amie: eh. Are you in school today?

Me: have to be.

Amie: okay, see you at our usual spot.

Me and Amie aren't even fully friends, yet she is so nice to me.

When I get to school I see my friend waiting at the front entrance for me. We enter the building and start walking to the center, on the way there my friends talk to me.
"So, what's up with you and Amie?" Max asked.
"Yeah, I swear just the other day you insulted her about her daddy issues." Luke added.
"Well, I mean when we did the project something happened...and now we're okay." I answer.
"What...did you's...you know?" Sam asks. I knew exactly what he was referring to.
"What! No! Ugh, why would you even suggest that?" I say giving him a dirty, unimpressed look.
"Ya never know!" Sam put his hand up, before putting them back down again chuckling.
"Did you two kiss?" Luke asked.
"Just let the guy speak." Max sighs, I think he's the only friend I have that is actually mature.
"No, we didn't kiss we hung out. Now if you want any more information you need to ask..." my eyes look away from my friends as I stop walking. Right in front of me stood her. "Amie..." I say in a loud whisper.
"Uh, dude. You good?" Sam asks waving his hand in front of my eyes. I push his hand away.
"Yeah!" I say. We all walk up to Amie who was obviously waiting for us.
