I couldn't help, but worry about Liam's safety. Obviously, I worried about Lilah. But Nate didn't seem to care about hurting Lilah. He was more fixated on trying to harm, Liam. But why? I mean, to be fair...Liam isn't the...brightest, of people. Is the best way to put it. He didn't care what people perceived him as, just as long as he stayed happy, nothing bothered him, honestly it's a surprise no one's threatened him before.

I didn't care though. Why should I? I continued to lay in bed and listen to my music, to ignore the voices in my head telling me to text Liam and warn him. Not like he'd do the same for me.

Not like he'd do the same for me

Something wasn't right. I knew Nate and I knew perfectly well he remembered me. Nate Carpenter, son of Mark Carpenter, multi-millionaire. He was the CEO of Carpenters International Technology. The Carpenter's have always been a rivalry to my family, Evan's for generations. I used to be friends with Nate though. Our fathers, when me and Nate were around the ages of 7, wanted us to end the rivalry and wanted me and Nate to work together in business when we were old enough to take over our families companies. Clearly, that didn't work out, due to an unfortunate turn of events at age 11. Nate's mother was found shot dead, when him and his father got home, after a wonderful day at the Davidsons, the Carpenter's allis for decades. Due to the rivalry, they instantly pointed fingers to our family, even though I know the truth. It was the Davidson's that killed Molly Carpenter. It was the perfect set up. Get the son and husband out of the house, kill the wife. Find out about the incident. Act all sorry and sympathetic, give a few blatant suggestions to the grieving family members, then make them believe it was their oldest rivals. The Davidson's didn't do it because they wanted revenge on the Carpenters, it was for us, the Evans. The Davidsons didn't was us become an Ally, due to the fact they were morally scared. Of the fact that, they could be kicked out of alliance-ship with the Carpenter's then forced to close down, all because of the Evan's simply, collaborating with another well known tech company. The Davidson's were forced to shut down anyway, because they were sued for fraud. I had merely forgotten about Nate. Until I saw him. Then found out he was dating-
I stopped myself. How could've I been so dumbfounded! Nate and Amie weren't together, Nate was, or well is in this case, doing this for simple revenge. Because at age 15, his father also got shot, in holiday in Puerto Rica, where I coincidentally had discovered was there, when I was simply visiting. But then a few days after that unplanned meetup, he mysteriously got shot. Nate believes I shot his father!

I should've believed Amie. She probably hates me by now. I want to tell her how sorry I am, but how do you say sorry to someone after accusing them of something, that's false because you acted before you thought.
