I had no clue what Amie wanted to talk to Sam and Nate for. I had no care, for their conversations. Especially Amie and Nate's. But, there's no harm, to try and find out what happened. "What was that about?" I asked Amie, who looked pale. I didn't want to be concerned, but I couldn't help it. She lifted her chin to look up at me. "Why would you want to know." She looked at me. That wasn't a question, that statement was equivalent to, 'I don't want you to know.' I didn't bother to try to squeeze it out of her. She eventually walked away. I should be relieved she left me alone. But I wasn't. I really wasn't.
