I open my eyes tiredly, smiling at the sight of my daughter sound asleep. It wasn't even her last day with me she just wanted to sleep in my bed.

I still feel bad how affected she is by my work schedule but there's really nothing I can do about it.

I check my phone, surprised to see it's a little after nine because my alarm didn't go off.

The Malibu Barbie Cafe just set up in Manhattan for a few months so I made reservations for me and Bellamy a few weeks ago at 10:30. I've managed to keep it a secret from her but I know she's gonna love it because she's a big fan of Barbie.

She's in Barbie pjs right now and her Barbie bonnet. I already set out a little pink Barbie Hoodie and Jogger outfit for her.

I lean over and kiss her forehead. "Baby wake up."

A quiet groan leaves her, then she's stretching before she finally opens her eyes. "Good morning." She smiles at me.

"Goodmorning, I set you out some clothes to put on in your room. We're going out for brunch."

"Where?" She sits up, rubbing her eyes.

"It's a surprise." I smile at her.

Her eyes light up with excitement. "I-I love surprises." She basically jumps off the bed and runs out of the room, taking off her bonnet as she does. No signs of being sleepy anymore whatsoever.

With a quiet laugh I take my own bonnet off as I walk to the bathroom. I do my business and all that other morning stuff before finding a light pink hoodie and Jogger set of my own, that matches Bellamy's.

Then I'm back in the bathroom working on a light makeup look. Eventually Bellamy comes barging in.

She gasps when she sees my outfit kinda matches hers. "A-Are we going t-to a Barbie place?" I had a feeling she'd get the hint.

I smirk. "Maybe."

She gasps and runs over to hug me. "T-Thank you! Thank you!"

I chuckle. "You don't even know what it is yet, you might not like it."

She lets me go and shrugs. "I-I always have fun w-with you."

I smile. "Did you brush your teeth?"

"Yep." She grins to show her pearly whites, only one missing at the moment. She has a few more to loose.

I chuckle. "Ok, go put on some shoes and I'll come do your hair."

While she's doing that I finish up my makeup then put on some white forces. I find that Bellamy chose her pink forces. It is her favorite color.

We leave the house after I braid her hair into two Dutch braids. I lock the door then we're walking to the car.

"I-Is that Rani?" Bellamy asks once we reach the sidewalk.

"Where?" I look around.

"Right there, s-she's running towards us." She points at a familiar figure jogging on the sidewalk towards us.

It isn't till they're only a few feet away that I realize it's Rani and she slows down when she sees us.

"It is." I mutter, a little confused.

"H-Hi, Rani!" Bellamy leaves my side to run up to Rani, who smiles brightly at her, a hint of confusion on her face.

"Hey, my little sirenita."

Her outfit is a little different than what she wears to gym, it happens to be a tracksuit today.

"W-what are you doing h-here?" Bellamy asks her after a hug.
