Chapter 25

My alarm ringing loudly wakes me up, it's 7:00 in the morning. It's Friday and I'm off but I have to take Bellamy to school otherwise I wouldn't be up this early.

I make my way to the bathroom where I remove my bonnet, throw my hair into a messy bun, and brush my teeth.

Then before I start breakfast I go to Bellamy's room. Who's sleeping peacefully, her bonnet having lowered down so it's covering her eyes.

"Baby wake up, it's time for school." I say from the side of her bed.

She stretches with a frown, bonnet still over her eyes. "I-I don't feel good." A fake cough after the sentence, then a small smile on her lips.

I smack my lips and reach down to pull her bonnet up. "Come on, I'm gonna make rainbow waffles."

Her brow raises. "W-With whipped cream?"

I hum. "Yep."

She hops up and snatches off her bonnet, laying it on her bed. "Ok."

"Get dressed and make your bed while I make them." I tell and point to her uniform I have on the end of her bed.

As I leave the room and make my way to the kitchen I send Ramona a goodmorning text.

Before I go to the kitchen I connect to the Bluetooth speaker in the living room and start up some music.

When I get in the kitchen I get everything out, to make some rainbow waffles and start myself up some coffee. With the waffle Iron I make three. It isn't hard, I just dye the waffle mix using every color I have. They turn out really cute when you cut them in half, add some whipped cream at the bottom, and some sprinkles.

For the side I slice up some apples and place a dollop of peanut butter for her to dip them in. I set the plate on the kitchen table with a bottle of syrup next to it.

Ramona gets back to me with a goodmorning and reminding me that she'll be picking me and Bellamy up at 5:00.

Bellamy walks into the kitchen. "Y-you done?"

I hum. "Yep, there's your plate. Want some orange juice?"

"Yeah." She gets situated in front of her plate and as I'm fixing her a glass of OJ she's dousing her waffles in syrup.

I let her eat while I scroll on my phone then when she finishes I do her hair and she brushes her teeth before we leave and I drop her off at school. As as I get home I lay on the couch and turn on the tv.

Just as I set the remote down my phone rings and I answer. The call coming from my Aunt Pam.

"Goodmorning." I answer with a smile as I lay on the couch.

"Goodmorning, dear." She says, cheery as ever, she's a morning person that's for sure.

"Have any plans for the day?" I ask.

She sighs. "I'll likely go to the store but that's it, you know me."

I hum in response.

"How are you and Ramona?" I can hear her smile through the phone.

My smile grows at the mention of Ramona. Ever since we've made it official we've been spending alot of time together. She always brings me lunch when I'm working a day shift, making the day better.

"Good. Later today me and Bellamy are going to have Dinner with Ramona and her dad. It'll be my first time meeting him." I tell.

A few days ago Ramona called and asked if me and Bell would like to have dinner at her dad's, of course I agreed. This is big step for us.
