"Mommy wake up! I-I made us breakfast."
I wake up with panic with Bellamy's words but am quickly relieved when I see her holding two plates each with a hot pocket. For a second I thought she used the stove.
She huffs, reading my reaction. "I know I'm not supposed to use the stove d-don't worry. I-I don't know how anyway so I made us hot pockets but I-I think I did it wrong because they're kinda hard." She holds out one of the plates.
I chuckle. "Let me see." I grab the plate and poke the hot pocket.
It's hard as a rock. At least she tried. "I appreciate you trying but next time put it on a minute and thirty." I set the plate on the night stand.
"Oops, I put them on 4 minutes." She admits sheepishly as she sets her own plate by mine.
Again I laugh and throw my blankets off of me before standing. "Want to go to I Hop for breakfast? Then we'll go to the aquarium, you still want to go right?" I really don't feel like cooking this morning. Her eyes widen and she starts jumping up and down. "Yes!"
It's then that I notice what she's wearing. A black turtle neck shirt tucked into brown, black, and white plaid cloth pants, with a matching cloth belt bow around her waist. It's a cute fall outfit. I'm proud of her fashion choice.
My eyes then note her poofy hair, remembering I put her to bed with a messy bun. "Your outfit is cute. Did you try to do your hair?"I ask with amusement.
"Yep, I-It got all frizzy." She pouts, trying to lay it down with her hands. Lately she's been trying to be more independent, it honestly makes me sad how fast she's growing up.
I stick my hand out to feel her hair, it's dry. "You didn't spray it?" Her hair isn't as curly as mine, it's more wavy but it still behaves like mine a little. So I do the same hair routine on hers that I do on mine.
With curly hair it's a love hate relationship.
Her eyes widen and she gasps. "I forgot. That's why it d-didn't work."
I chuckle. "Put the hot pockets in the trash and wash the plates while I get dressed, please. Then I'll do your hair."
"Sir, yes, sir." She salutes me.
I shake my head but smile. "You play too much, go." I shoo her away with my hands playfully.
She giggles, grabs the plates and runs out.
I took a shower as soon as I got home, so another would be unnecessary. I grab a brown long sleeved dress out of the closet and throw it on with some Jordans I found that match. Nothing special.
I take myself to the bathroom, where I brush my teeth, do my make up and hair. I chose to leave my hair down and curly, reaching my shoulders. Then I went for a natural makeup look, not bothering to put on lashes.
Small hoop earring adorn my ears and a small necklace hangs around my neck. I leave my room and find Bellamy in the living room, watching SpongeBob.
She was ahead enough to already put on some white forces.
"Let's go do your hair, then we can go."
She grins, and jumps off the couch. I mean literally hops up, the girl has energy. I'm only 26 but I could honestly use some of it.
In her bathroom I style Bellamy's hair, leaving it down like mine to her request, I gave her a small little braid in the front as well.
"That good?" I ask, looking at her in the bathroom mirror.
She nods. "Yep, let's go."
"Ok." I chuckle.
I grab my wallet and keys then we dip.
