"Ms.Taylor had a lot of good things to say about you." I say to Bellamy as we leave her classroom.

My baby is above almost all of her classmates when it comes to her grades and reading level. She's reading at a 6th grade level and she's in 3rd grade.

"Y-yeah, I'm a v-very good st-student." Bellamy grins.

"I'm proud of you baby, we can go to Coney Island next weekend since you've been doing good."

She gasps and starts hopping up and down. The small braid I had tucked behind her right ear comes undone in the process.
"Thank you! I-I can't w-wait!" Her yelling gains some attention from some of the kids and parents passing by.

"You're welcome. Let's go wait for the others outside." I fix the braid back behind her ear.

"K."

I grab her hand and lead her outside, where we wait in the at the bottom of the steps the lead up to the main entrance.

In front of the school's main entrance is where we always meet back up with Ari and Sadia. They had to go to Ruben and Seda's conference. To save time now they each go with one kid instead of going together. Noah is with Ari's moms at the moment.

This is a new thing since this is Seda's first year. We all three just kinda talk about what the teachers have said but never is there really anything to talk about since Ruben and Bellamy always do good. I expect Seda to do good too of course.

I scroll through Instagram as we wait for everyone.

A while later Bellamy grabs my attention when she shouts, "Beany! Sabina!"

I look up and follow her eyes, staring behind us where her Aunt Aya's wife is coming down the stairs, carrying 4 year old Sabina.

She gives me an acknowledging nod, which I return a smile to.

"Hey, Bell!" The little girl waves.

"W-Where is A-Aunt Aya?"

"She's at home with the baby." Sabine answers her.

"Oh. I-I was te-telling m-mommy we need t-to come over s-so she can m-meet Lucas." Bellamy looks at me. "C-Can we g-go today?"

I purse my lips and look at Sabine, silently asking if that would be ok.

The tatted woman shrugs. "We wouldn't mind."

So, I agree. "Sure, we can go."

"Yes!" Bellamy jumps up and down.

"Ok, I'll let Aya know. See you later." Sabine says.

"Ok, Bye Sabina." Bellamy waves at her cousin.

Sabina waves back before her arms go back around her mother's neck as Sabine carries her away.

"C-can we go s-see Rani b-before we go?" She asks as we leave the school.

"Sure baby." I smile.

"Yes." She pumps her fist in the air making me laugh.

"What's got you happy Bell?" Ari's voice comes from the stairs, Ruben her as they walk down.

Bell looks at her and smiles. "We're g-going t-to see Rani b-before we go t-to Aunt Aya's."

Ari hums. "She told me about the arm thing and how you helped her and have been checking on her. It seems like you've actually changed her perspective on you."

I shrug nonchalantly. "I guess.

She snorts. "What are you two going to Aya's for?"

I sigh. "Sabine just left with Sabina and Bellamy remembered that I haven't met Aya's baby yet." I add.
