Chapter 9

"Ruben behind you, he's coming! Everybody run!" I hear Bellamy screaming in the living room as I'm getting ready for the gym. I picked her up from cheer practice and took her to eat.

And yes, she's that loud. She's playing Roblox with her brother Ruben, sister Seda, cousin Sabina, and her friend Melanie they'll all hop into a call and play together.

I finish with the last touches of my makeup, put on some Nikes then grab my keys and purse.

Bellamy screams so loud when I enter the living room it actually scares me, I make out her brother screaming through the phone as well. She's out of her cheer uniform and In a plain shirt and jeans with a little plaid jacket.

"Can you guys stop screaming, please? I have in my headphones." I hear Melanie through the phone next and I laugh quietly to myself.

I go unnoticed as I watch Bellamy. "I-I'm s-s-sorry but I-it's scary."

"Yeah, it is vewy scary" Seda backs her up. This is the most amusing thing to watch I swear.

"No you guys just wusses." Sabina's small voice comes through and I chuckle to myself. She's just like her mom Aya, attitude and all.

"Hey, Bell's not a wuss but I do think it's boring. I'd rather play fashion famous." Is Melanie's retort.

I smile at her defending Bellamy. I've heard that anyone that's ever tried to make fun of my baby has gotten chewed out.

"I don't like that game." Ruben says.

"I-I'll play I-it with you M-Melanie." My baby tells her.

I decided to approach in that moment. "You'll have to play later, it's time to go."

She smiles at me. "O-ok, guys I-I have to go b-but Melanie we c-can play later."

"I's wants to plays too." Seda's small voice comes through.

"Me too." Sabina says.

Ruben sighs loudly, I just know it's him. I swear he's Sadia as a boy. "I guess I'll play too."

"O-ok all call a-all of you later th-then, b-bye."

They all say bye and she hangs up before hopping off the couch. "I-I'm ready."

We leave the house and get into the car. I drive us the short trip to the gym. As always Bellamy is out before me.

"C-come on!" She grabs my hand and pulls me along.

"Ok." I laugh.

With how fast she's pulling me along it doesn't take long for us to reach the doors of the gym.

We step in and look around in search of Rani, but I don't see her. She might be in the boxing gym.

"W-where is Rani?" Bellamy asks.

"Let's ask Grace." I should make sure she's here at least . With Bellamy having cheer practice we go here a little later than normally.

We approach the counter Grace is at. "Hey, Grace. Is Ramona here?"

"Yeah, she's in the boxing gym."

Bellamy has already let my hand go and is running towards the doors of the boxing gym. "Baby wait for me!" I call to her then give a quick smile to Grace. "Thanks."

"You're welcome."

I quickly make my way to Bellamy who's waiting by the boxing gym doors. "Sorry, I'm just h-happy to s-see Rani. I-I want to sh-show her m-my tumbling m-moves."

I lead her to the doors. "I'm sure she'll like to see that."

We enter the gym and I immediately spot Rani sending punches to a punching bag. She seems to be using her left hand but she still has the injured one raised up to her face. Unbelievable.
