"Go make the popcorn, I'm gonna call your Mamá. Remember all you gotta do is push the popcorn button." I tell Bell.

We just got back home after dropping off Melanie and we decided to have a movie night in my room to end the day.

"O-ok." She runs out of my room while I pull out my phone. I need somebody to talk to about what happened, somebody that understands Rani to be more specific.

"Hello?" Ari answers.

"You're friend is a mess." I start with.

"Who Rani? What did she do?" Ari asks already sounding tired.

"It was more a both of us thing... We almost kissed at the carnival today." I blurt out.

"Wow." Ari lets out a breath.

"Yeah I know but I like her Ari and she's admitted that she likes me too but she told me she's scared to date because of her ex. She also thinks it would be disrespectful to you to be with me specifically." I feel like a teenager with a hopeless crush or something. I honestly think it's deeper than that though, I swear me and Ramona have a connection do some sort.

Ari scoffs. "I wouldn't care, that would actually be pretty cool if you two were together. We could go on double dates and all kinds of stuff. Also Bellamy loves her to death and that's all that matters to me in a partner you get." I expected her not to care but I didn't really expect her to be rooting for us either. Honestly I should have, it's Ari.

I chuckle. "Yeah I know and that would be nice but I don't think there's any hope of that happening."

"I'll talk to her." She offers.

"God no. Please don't." I beg. "She needs to figure this out and talk to you on her own terms. I just wanted to confirm that you wouldn't care."

"Ok but I really couldn't care less and Rani knows that. It's just an extra excuse for her because the biggest thing for her is wasting her time. I'd say she just needs more time to know you won't waste hers but don't give up on her, I think you two would actually do great together. You're both short." I can hear her stupid grin through the phone.

I roll my eyes but can't not smile, that was kinda funny. "Ok, I'm hanging up now."

On a real note, I could give Ramona a little more time. Just a little.

She laughs. "No, you're not, let me talk to my baby."

"One second, she's in the kitchen making popcorn." I say and start making my way to the kitchen.

I reach the kitchen and find Bellamy pouring a bag of popcorn into the large metal Barbie popcorn bucket, her tongue poked out the side of her mouth in concentration. "Baby you're mamá wants to talk to you."

"I'm al-almost done." She says.

I giggle. "You heard that right?"

"Yeah, I guess popcorn is more important than me." Ari feigns hurt.

Again I laugh.

"Ok, I'm done." Bell soon comes over and holds her hand out for the phone. "Y-You'll have to p-pour the other one."

"Ok. Tell Sadia I said hey, Bell's ready to talk." I tell Ari.

"Ok." She replies and I give the phone to Bell.

I sigh behind the nurse desk as I pack up my notebook and stuff to go home. It's been a long but good day. I happened to save a five year old girls life.  She was born with a heart condition and came in with her parent concerned about chest pain. We suspected a heart attack and as we were assessing her she started coding.
