A D I T Y A

I've always found myself struggling with making presentations. It's one of those tasks I genuinely despise because it consumes so much of my time and energy. Joravar, my colleague, used to handle this responsibility. I was only involved to the extent of checking it over before our meetings. But now, with Joravar gone, the weight of this task has squarely fallen on my shoulders.

For the past hour and a half, I've been sitting here, trying to put together this presentation, yet I haven't managed to create even a single slide. It's incredibly frustrating. Across from me, I can see Aaki working diligently, immersed in her tasks without a hint of distraction. Her focus and dedication are almost enviable.

Every time I glance at her, a flurry of butterflies erupts in my stomach. I can't help but remember our kiss. It was fiery, intense, and left me yearning for more. In that moment, I wanted nothing more than to be close to her, to lose myself in the passion of the moment. But I had to restrain myself, knowing it wasn't the right time or place. Still, when I'm around Aaki, it feels like the concept of self-control vanishes from my mind.

After some time, Aaki walked into my office, her big smile lighting up the room. I could tell she was pleased with herself for completing the financial report. It was a task she handled with her usual efficiency and enthusiasm. Now, it was my turn to step up and complete the presentation. However, the reality is that despite my best efforts, I haven't even managed to put together a single slide. The pressure is mounting, and the more I think about it, the more overwhelmed I feel.

"Hey, what happened? Is everything okay?” she asked, her concern evident. I can't tell her that I hate making this presentation.

"Yes, it's fine. I called my mom here from Patna. Joravar went to bring her, but my father is not allowing her to come," I said. It's not entirely a lie—I had thought about it.

Without a second thought, she moved closer to me, cupping my cheek and making me look at her. "Sab thik ho jayega. Don’t worry too much," she said softly, giving me a small kiss on my forehead.

Aww, and I melted right there, like hot chocolate on a cold day or ice cream left out in the sun. The way she kissed my forehead was all it took to turn me into a puddle of warmth and comfort. My face must have lit up like a kid who just got their favourite candy back after a long tantrum, all thanks to her sweet, reassuring kiss.

She  always knows how to make everything better with a simple, loving gesture. It's amazing how she can transform my mood with just a touch, making me feel safe and cared for in an instant.

After all, she is my mommy.

Suddenly, I pulled Aaki towards myself and made her sit on my lap. It had become a normal occurrence, her perched there comfortably. She weighs almost nothing—maybe just 50-52 kg. We laughed and talked, then moved towards my mansion to complete our presentation. After having dinner, we headed to my room.

After some time, we reached the front of my room after coming back from 2nd floor to 3rd floor .

I thought that I should try once more to convince her to enter in my room.
