A K R I T I
Aditya Singh Rathore is the epitome of a handsome hunk, the kind of man who makes heads turn wherever he goes. If ever there was a perfect example of sheer male beauty, it would be him. Honestly, it's like God took His time—no, His entire summer vacation—just to craft him. Everything about him is a work of art, from the way his veiny arms flex whenever he moves to the sight of that kurta with the top buttons casually undone, offering just the tiniest glimpse of his smooth chest.
A chest that, by the way, I had the pleasure of resting my head on last night. I made him button up the lower part of the kurta—no way was I going to let anyone else see what I consider my private view.
And that jawline. Sharp enough to cut glass, it steals my attention every time he clenches and unclenches it. There’s something incredibly magnetic about watching him when he’s annoyed, especially when Abhi starts teasing him.
Adi’s default response is to playfully blackmail us by threatening, “I’m leaving,” as if that would work. Abhi, being the devil he is, clued me in on Adi’s little act, and we caught him in the middle of one of his so-called departures, red-handed.
But Abhi couldn’t resist adding fuel to the fire. He kissed the back of my hand and bolted, knowing full well it would set Adi off. And it did—Adi practically crushed Abhi with his bear hug, and then, just like that, he turned his anger on me. He started marching off without me, genuinely furious this time. I could tell by the stormy look in his eyes that this wasn’t just an act anymore. My heart raced as I tried to think of a way to calm him down.
Lost in thought, I didn’t even notice Adi moving forward until he stopped suddenly. A light tug on my pallu caught my attention, and when we both looked down, we realised that my pallu had gotten caught on his watch. It was like something out of my favourite Bollywood scene, the one I’d always dreamed of recreating. And here it was, unfolding naturally in front of us.
Everything about the moment was perfect—the way Adi froze, the way our eyes met, the way the universe seemed to conspire to keep us together, even when we were trying to push apart.
“What happened, not leaving yet?” I teased, noticing the intense way he was staring at me. His gaze was so focused, it felt almost like he was trying to read my mind.“What can I do? You didn’t let me leave,” he said, leaning in closer. His proximity made my heart race, but I took a step back, creating a bit of distance.
“I didn’t do anything; see, both my hands are here,” I said, raising my hands to show him I wasn’t doing anything suspicious. I then carefully untangled my pallu from his watch.
“You didn’t, but this pallu will always keep me tied to you,” he said, his voice low and sultry. He pulled me closer by the waist, and I could feel the heat of his body against mine. His thumb traced a slow, sensual path over my bare waist, sending shivers down my spine.
