The tension in the room was palpable as Aadarsh Singh Rathore, a man known for his ruthlessness, issued his latest command. His voice was cold and precise, leaving no room for misinterpretation.
"Find a sniper. Someone who can shoot and kill with a single shot," Aadarsh ordered, his tone devoid of emotion. His steely gaze never wavered as he spoke, a smirk playing on his lips as if the idea of orchestrating a death brought him some twisted satisfaction.
His secretary, Mr. Khanna, a man well-versed in the darker side of business, nodded. However, curiosity got the better of him. "Yes, sir. But may I ask, who is the target?" Khanna's voice was cautious, knowing that even the slightest misstep could earn Aadarsh's wrath.
Aadarsh's eyes flickered with a dangerous light as he responded, his voice rising slightly. "Just do as I say. And find someone who is an enemy of Aditya." The name of his own son dripped with a mix of disdain and malevolence, his smirk growing wider. The idea of targeting Aditya, his own flesh and blood, didn't seem to stir any hesitation in him.
As the orders were given, one of Aadarsh's loyal bodyguards immediately left the room to begin the search for the elusive sniper, someone capable of carrying out this deadly task without question. Meanwhile, Khanna quickly tapped away on his iPad, searching through files and databases, following his boss's command with the precision of a well-oiled machine.
Within moments, Khanna found something that piqued his interest. "Sir, three years ago, Aditya saved a woman named Priyanka and offered her a job in his company. He also helped her through a divorce from her abusive husband. Since then, her ex-husband has harbored a deep grudge against Aditya, looking for any opportunity to harm him," Khanna reported, his voice steady as he relayed the information.
Aadarsh's smirk deepened, his eyes narrowing in thought. "Oh, that's interesting," he mused aloud. The gears in his mind were turning, calculating the best way to use this newfound information to his advantage. "Call him. I want to speak to him personally."
"Understood, sir. I'll make the arrangements immediately. Is there anything else you need?" Khanna inquired, ready to carry out whatever dark task his employer demanded next.
Aadarsh waved him off dismissively. "You may go. But I want that sniper and her husband's number in one hour. Do not fail me." His voice was a low growl, a clear warning that failure would not be tolerated. With that, Aadarsh turned on his heel, leaving the office with the confidence of a man who believed himself invincible.
However, as he approached the door, Aadarsh halted abruptly. Standing just outside was Apeksha, his wife, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. The shock and betrayal on her face were unmistakable.
"How can you do this to our own child?" Apeksha's voice trembled with a mixture of anger and disbelief. She had heard everything, every word of the callous plan her husband was setting in motion against their son. "Have you become so heartless that you would harm him?"
Aadarsh met her gaze, his expression hardening. There was no remorse in his eyes, only a cold detachment. He did not respond immediately, his silence a stark contrast to Apeksha's raw emotion. The woman he had once loved now stood before him as a barrier, pleading for the life of their son.
But Aadarsh had already made up his mind. In his world, emotions were a weakness, and anyone-family included-who stood in the way of his ambitions was expendable. Without a word, he brushed past Apeksha, leaving her standing alone, her tears falling freely as the weight of his betrayal crushed her heart.
