oscar just reaaally had to start all of the drama. it was funny though. lina looked over and was met with logan's hopeful gaze, after he had watched her open twitter and discover this awful thread.
she couldn't help but laugh, and with some relief, he found it really funny as well.

so, some of the 'secret' was out, at least she could still have some sense of privacy for now. her name wasn't released, and who her family were. just a little bit of her face, and she decided that she was fine with that.. for now.
she knew people were trying to find out who she was - and by the way, it was really creepy. she decided to stop stalking the tweet, because some of the replies were creepier than others and she needed to stop dwelling upon what other people thought - after all, they don't even know her.

some of them were really cringe. but also some of them hit hard. how did they have these opinions on her before they had even been introduced to her, or even knew her name? the jealousy actually went insane, she knew that was all that it was.
lina literally had to force herself to put the phone down and go to sleep, after scrolling mindlessly for hours through comments made about herself - her appearance (which was barely even visible) and other cruel insults thrown at her through twitter threads. by this point, all of the tiredness had vanished from her, but she heard logan breathing slowly from across the room, so she knew he had long since been asleep.
probably because the hate comments didn't bother him, because he was used to it. but she wished that she could talk to him about it. eventually, after a while of tossing and turning around in the uncomfortable bed, she finally drifted off into a deep sleep.
she slept for so long that she completely missed her alarm, and slept for long into the next day, and even into the afternoon. lina woke up at 1:32pm, glanced across the room and realised logan was gone.
she remembered that she needed to be awake early, but to be fair, it would have been awkward for him to wake her up, she supposed. so that's why he left her to sleep. lina assumed she had only slept a few extra hours from the time she needed to be awake for, but when she checked her phone, her eyes widened.
this was not a great first impression for her to make. not to her "boyfriend" and not to the public either. now he would have been seen entering the paddock alone, which was the first thing that they were supposed to do together - to make another appearance to the cameras flashing.
