A year had passed, and their relationship had grown stronger despite the odds. They had learned to navigate the choppy waters of Jadeja's mafia world and Dhoni's medical one, finding a surprising balance between the two.
"You're late," Jadeja complained playfully as Dhoni walked into the dimly lit restaurant, his eyes scanning the room for the familiar face.
"And you're a mess," Dhoni replied with a smirk, taking in the small cut on Jadeja's cheek. "What happened?"
"It's nothing," Jadeja said, waving it off. "Just a little... workplace accident."
Dhoni sighed, his smile fading. "Come on, let's get you home," he said, taking Jadeja's hand.
💞💞💞
Once at Dhoni's apartment, he led Jadeja to the bathroom, gently cleaning the cut with antiseptic. "You really need to be more careful," he chided, his tone laced with concern.
Jadeja leaned into his touch, his eyes never leaving Dhoni's in the mirror. "I am," he murmured. "But sometimes, things just... happen."
"You know the rules," Dhoni said, his voice firm as he led Jadeja to the bedroom. "When you come to me hurt, you have to make it up to me."
Jadeja's eyes widened, a hint of excitement flaring in them. "What do you mean?"
"You know exactly what I mean," Dhoni said, his voice low and husky. "Kneel."
Jadeja's heart raced as he did as he was told, his knees hitting the floor with a soft thud. Dhoni stepped behind him, his hand on Jadeja's shoulder. "Now, tell me you're sorry for making me worry," he said, his grip firm.
"I'm sorry, Mahi," Jadeja whispered, his voice thick with emotion. "I didn't mean to..."
But Dhoni didn't let him finish. With a swift movement, he slapped Jadeja's cheek, the sound echoing through the room. Jadeja's head snapped to the side, his eyes watering from the sting.
"What do you call me?" Dhoni demanded, his voice laced with a dominance that sent a shiver down Jadeja's spine.
"Daddy," Jadeja murmured, his breath hitching.
Dhoni's expression softened, his hand moving to caress the spot where he'd slapped. "Good boy," he said, his voice a low rumble.
"Now, tell me why you're really here," Dhoni continued, his eyes searching Jadeja's.
Jadeja swallowed hard, his eyes dropping to the floor. "I just... I needed you," he admitted, his voice small.
Dhoni's heart clenched at the admission. "You know I'm here for you," Dhoni said, his voice gruff. "But you have to be honest with me."
Jadeja nodded, his eyes meeting Dhoni's once more. "I know," he said, his voice a barely audible whisper. "I just... I wanted to feel safe."
Dhoni's hand tightened on Jadeja's shoulder, his own need for control and protection surging to the surface. "You're always safe with me," he assured him, his voice a promise.
"You're going to tell me everything, baby boy," Dhoni murmured, his hand caressing Jadeja's neck. "Every little detail that's been eating at you."
Jadeja's eyes searched Dhoni's, seeking reassurance. "I-I don't know where to start," he stuttered, his body trembling with a mix of fear and arousal.
"Start with why you're here," Dhoni said, his voice soothing. "Why you needed me."
Jadeja took a deep breath, his eyes dropping to the floor. "It was just... another job," he began, his voice shaking. "But it went wrong. Someone... someone saw me."
