Y/N'S POV

"Okinawa Island?" I exclaimed in surprise when Mr. Haitani was home. But what shocked me even more was his announcement that we're heading to Okinawa Island!

"Yes, honey," he said with a smile, wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing the top of my head.

"Why all of a sudden? You just got home. You must be tired."

I always show Mr. Haitani myself as young, cheerful, and energetic. He said he liked it that way, so I kept it up to keep him happy.

"My employees requested a team-building trip. So, you, me, and the boys are going."

"Including me and Rindou?" Ran asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes, it'll be a family vacation too... and it's also your mother's birthday."

The room fell silent, and both Ran and Rindou stared at the floor at the mention of their mother.

It was awkward. Their mother is clearly a sensitive topic.

I don't know the full story, just that she died early. I never asked much, thinking it wasn't important.

"Sure, dad," Ran responded coldly before walking away with Rindou.

Are they going out again?

"By the way, Aniiki. That girl you were with the other night showed up here last night...."

I didn't catch the rest as they walked away, talking. I just watched them until they disappeared.

Look at him with different girls every night.

Why am I even upset? Ran and I were just casual.

Him saying he likes me means nothing. He probably says that to all his girls.

Bold of me to assume that I'm special.

Anyway, after they left, Mr. Haitani took me to his room and showed me everything he bought for me.

They were all expensive brands, tags still on them. My eyes watered at the prices.

Even if I work ten times harder, I still can't reach this level of wealth.

"I'm surprised you're not with anyone," Sanzu remarked as we entered a private room in Koko's casino.

"And I'm surprised you're not high."

It was just the four of us; the others were tied up with their own lives and problems, I guess.

"He probably got scolded by his mommy," Koko teased, shaking his glass of alcohol and ice.

"Shut up, you always bring her up," I snapped.

Every time I see this guy, he mentions Y/n. It makes my blood boil, and I have to fight the urge to smack him to make him stop.

It got me thinking he really wants her after that night at the club.

"I just find her so familiar. Haven't I seen her before?" Koko muttered.

"We've all seen her before. Remember the girl from the Kanto incident?" Rindou added.

"Who? Mikey's sister?"

"No, the girl who was actually in the fight," Sanzu realized. "Woah! she changed a lot! From nerd to hottie!"
