Y/N'S POV

I woke up with an urgent need to go to the bathroom. Slowly, I opened my eyes and saw a white painted wall in front of me.

I was lying on my side, feeling warm, but my legs were still aching. Despite that, I felt like I had slept well.

Then it hit me—I hadn't slept at all, as it was clearly still night.

"Thank God you're not dead," I heard a voice say.

From my peripheral vision, I saw a man standing. When I glanced over, I saw Ran.

Initially confused, I soon remembered everything that had happened.

"Thank God I'm alive," I said, taking a deep breath as I felt my heart pounding.

Ran had kept his word; he didn't kill me.

"You hungry?" he asked, sitting beside me. He looked and sounded softer than usual.

I found myself on a sofa, covered in a thick comforter.

"No, I think I'm good," I replied, shaking my head.

"Well, I made something in the kitchen. Just help yourself if you get hungry." His sudden niceness made me wonder if he was sick.

"Why did you bring me here?" I asked, raising my brows at him with a bit of attitude.

My eyes began to wonder around the house.

The house was beautiful, located on top of a hill with an overlooking view. It was a bungalow type, and from the living room, you could see the streetlights.

"Because I want to. We're staying here for the night, so just zip your mouth," he said, matching my attitude.

Just when I thought he might be nicer.

"I'm getting my nails done tomorrow, so I cannot stay—" I began.

"I'll pay for your nails," he interrupted.

Thinking quickly, I said, "I'm also going out with my friend tomorrow morning."

"I'll drive you to your friend. And you were just with her a few hours ago, right?" he asked, frowning.

"Yeah, and?" I replied.

"You have no choice. You can't force me to drive you home. I'm tired," he said firmly.

This is definitely kidnapping.

"Are you sure you're not hungry?" he asked again, changing the topic as he walked to the kitchen.

"No, are you?" I asked back, thinking he must be if he kept asking me.

"No, but I'll let you know if I am," he said, winking at me with a smirk as he started searching the fridge.

I was confused for a minute before realizing what he meant.

My face got hot when I finally understood. Why is he such a pervert?!

It felt like he often came here since the fridge was well-stocked. Was this his hideaway house? It seemed too expensive for just a hideaway.

I decided to ignore his flirtatious remarks and looked around the house until I spotted a huge TV.

Excitedly, I grabbed the remote control from the coffee table.

A movie night with Ran didn't seem like a bad idea.
