Chapter 18

Y/N'S POV

I woke up after to what it seems like a forever sleep, my body hurts. I don't know how many rounds we did last night, gosh, my body is aching.

I glanced over beside me, seems like Ran has already got up.

My feet took me to the bathroom where I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Before deciding to get out of the room.

I didn't see Ran anywhere, I looked for him everywhere, but I didn't see him.

Last night was insane, I can't believe he's that guy who I was looking for all these years... I sort of felt something different now for him.

That is when my eyes landed on a piece of paper on top of the kitchen counter, it seems like an opened letter. I remember his men handing him that letter yesterday at the plane.

My brows furrowed seeing Aoki on the letter... that's Morgan's family name.

My hand took the letter and decided to read it, it was from the Aoki family, and it was meant for Ran.

But my heart seems to drop after reading the second half of the letter. My eyes were wide open as I continue to read it... no fucking way, this is not happening right now.

"Y/n?"

I glanced to my side, only to meet eyes with Ran who just woke up. His eyes landed on the paper I was holding, which surprised him.

"You're marrying Morgan?"

What the fuck is going on? I thought Morgan's family are dead? His grandparents were the last one to exist... what the fuck is happening?!

"Y/n, I can explain-"

"You're marrying my fucking best friend?!" I screamed, slamming the paper on the counter.

Wait, why is this scene so familiar? It felt like it happened before?

"It's an arranged marriage, okay? It was made years ago by my mother and her aunt."

Out of all the people, why her?

"So, you knew all along?"

He looked frustrated, running his hand through his hair, "Yes, but it is never going to happen, because you're the one I want."

"Does Morgan know too?"

I felt numb and betrayed... My best friend is marrying the guy I've started having feelings for.

"It's not serious, look, it's never going to happen—"

"But you signed it already."

I can't with this.

I couldn't take it anymore. I turned to leave, but Ran quickly caught up, grabbing my wrist to stop me.

My mind was racing, words can't express how I'm feeling right now, I felt like crying.

"Hold on, you can't just leave like that-"

"What do you even want from me, Ran?! Don't even act so stupid, everyone in the house has told me about your revenge on your father. You lied to me! You told me those girls leave your father because they get bored of him, but I guess you forgot to mention the fact that you were fucking them?!"

I saw how his face changed; I don't see any empathy anymore.

"Now tell me, why did you go through of that trouble... what just to use me?"

My questions were pouring out uncontrollably. I needed to know why.

But instead, he grabbed my cheeks. "We both used each other for excitement Y/n. I don't have to tell you every single thing that happened to my life."

I was surprised to hear that from him...

I slapped his hands away, "That's right, because you're heartless... imagine what those girls felt when they found out that you also used them. You're a fucking asshole."

"Didn't you enjoy the chase? Don't act like all sorrow here when you started this, I have no intention to deal with you back then. But you're the one who came for me, who's drooling over me, instead of just focusing on your damn mission!" He said these words bit by bit to make me realize everything that I caused.

"You used us to get back at your father... Your mother must be disgusted by you—"

My words were cut off when I suddenly felt a sharp sting on my cheeks. And then, I just realized that he just raised his hands on me, I was shocked, no man has ever raised their hands on me.

"Don't you dare mention my mother with that dirty mouth of yours. She's not a bitch like you. I only used you for bed so know your place!" He yelled.

I felt how my eyesight gets blurry due to my tears. I was in pain when he said that to me... when he made me feel like a woman who people use as a bedwarmer.

I genuinely gain feeling for him... 

"Then why did you take me here in the first place? What? To play with me again? To use me as your fucking toy again?!" I couldn't control my tears anymore. "I am not for bed only! I am for fucking marriage as well, you're just blinded by your stupid mindset because you are so eager to take revenge that's why you're seeing me as a whore, slut, hoe name it all! You have no rights to judge me like this just because of how I dress and what happened to me in the past, is it because I just want to live a comfortable life I'm already considered as a whore?!"

He was quiet as I let all my words out. 

"You grew up with everything being served by you, I grew up with nothing! I want a better future for myself and even for my future kids, I have dreams too and you don't have the rights to make me feel like this because you're just someone I used for my desires as well! Someone I just fucked once, and someone who I'm going to address as my stepson in the future, because I am dropping this stupid mission to live a better life."

"You're the worser person here, Ran. You deserve to burn in hell with all of these games that you played with your father's ex-girlfriends and fiancé. You deserve nothing but pain, nothing but sorrow... you're a monster, and I fucking hate you!" I felt a little better after talking crap about him, I feel much better when I release my anger towards him.

"I don't have a time for this shit, think whatever you want to think-"

"I remember everything."

That's right, I do remember everything, I just chose to ignore it because of my hatred with Ran, because he left me, he didn't even look for me... he just left, just like that.

"Y-you what?" I saw his expression became scared, "Everything?"

"You left..." I felt my tears falling down on my cheeks, "I didn't had an amnesia, I just pretended thinking it'll hurt less... I saw you when you moved to Tokyo, I saw you with a girl. I waited for so long, only to see you with someone else. It seems like you already got your shit together while I am still stuck in the past... good for you," I couldn't help not to give a weak smile, reminding all of those time when I even fooled myself pretending, I forgot about everything.

But I was here, I was always here... waiting for him.
