INT. LA - SPA - MORNING

Olivia, Simone, Layla, Patience, and Kia are in the midst of a spa day. Massages. Pedis. Manis. Facials.

SIMONE

... So, you're not even going to hear him out?

OLIVIA

I don't have anything to say to a man hiding his wife and half-baked newborn from the world.

LAYLA

Olivia...

KIA

Half-baked is nasty work.

Patience shakes her head in disbelief.

PATIENCE

This doesn't sound like the Spencer I remember... There has to be a reason why he would... just--

OLIVIA

Lie? He's a sorry excuse for a man. There's your reason.

(frustrated)

Can we talk about something else? Literally, anything else.

KIA

I'm with, Liv... I've had it with ninjas and their secrets. Miss me with the bullshit.

Simone and Kia click champagne glasses. Patience raises a curious brow at Kia.

KIA

Don't ask.

SIMONE

Do you want me to tell Jordan he can't be in the wedding?

OLIVIA

No, this is your special day. I can stomach him for one day. Just let me dance with, Darnell instead.

KIA

Works for me.

Olivia's PHONE BUZZES. She ignores the fifth call from Spencer.

SIMONE

Thank, God... Jordan's unhinged as it is.

INT. LA LAW OFFICE - OLIVIA'S OFFICE - AFTERNOON

Engrossed in her work, Olivia looks up as Darnell TAPS on her open DOOR and walks in. She gives a slight smile.

OLIVIA

Hey, Nell... What brings you by?

DARNELL

Hey, Nell? Seriously? You're not responding to my calls or texts.

OLIVIA

(shrugs)

I'm swamped with work.

Darnell sits across from Olivia propping his feet on her desk.

DARNELL

Uh... What that gotta do with me? You never ignore my calls. Never.

Darnell eyes Olivia curiously, noticing the puffiness of her eyes. Her cell phone vibrates she immediately silences it.

DARNELL

Nah... Something else is going on.

OLIVIA

I don't know what you're talking about. I'm fine. Everything's fine.
