Chapter 14

Jhoanna was walking towards the council office, she insisted on helping Aiah to clean the council office. Since Aiah is the new student council president she wants to fix and change everything, the office must look neat, clean and at least looked new. Brooms, dust bins, paint and face masks, were all prepared by Aiah. Everyone was ready for the general cleaning. Her friends also came to help.

Jhoanna was cleaning the cupboard near the round table. In fact, Aiah could have the school's janitors clean it, but she doesn't want to bother them because they are already tired of cleaning, with the size of the school, anyone will get really tired. Aiah was really thoughtful, kind and considerate, not like Sta- No Jhoanna! Don't say that name. Hindi mo na kilala yon kinakalimutan mo na siya diba?

After her last encounter with Stacey that was a week ago, she never spoke to her again. She was avoiding her as long as possible she doesn't want to have any more interaction with the girl anymore.

She was moving on.

She will be fine.

She'll live. Time heals all.

She tried to stay as busy as possible. She made new friends, and occasionally she'd let herself cry. It took her almost two weeks to stop thinking about Stacey and tried to "move on" but she allowed herself to feel her emotions without sulking too much. She will be okay.

Hindi pa sa ngayon, pero darating din siya don.

"Hey!"She felt someone tapped her shoulders. She jumped a little at the sudden touch and she stared wide eyes at that person while laughing at her.

Avoiding someone can really take a toll on you. Jhoanna reflected since she entered the council office, she was jumpy the whole day looking over her shoulders hoping she won't see Stacey again.

"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you. It's just you didn't notice me when I called your name."He said and smiled at Jhoanna

Jhoanna smiled back."I'm sorry din Taneo. Hindi kita narinig."She apologized.

Taneo was one of the associates of SSG. He is also popular because he belongs in Aiah's circle of friends. Taneo was tall and slim, he's jet-black hair was styled neatly, he was wearing an aviator giving him an effortlessly cool look.

"Oh Taneo wala ng araw naka shades ka parin. Anong trip mo?"Sheena asked while laughing.

Because of Taneo's easygoing nature quickly put Jhoanna and her friends at ease. Even though he's one of the popular ones in school, you won't be shy to talk to him, because like Aiah he doesn't choose a person to be friends with. They have been with Taneo at the council office for a few days now, sometimes he also joins them to eat at the cafeteria together with Aiah. So they were able to get along quickly because he was kind, but he's just a little arrogant sometimes.

Taneo chuckled."Style kasi yan panira ka naman eh."

"Pangit naman kasi ng style mo tanggalin mo na yan."Colet said with a look of disgust.

"Jhoanna ipagtanggol mo ako inaayaw nila ako."

"Bingi yan si Jho, wala kang kakampi dito Taneo."

Jhoanna just shook her head at them while laughing. The children are fighting again.

She just went back to what she was doing. And she also ordered Taneo to help them clean. He complained that his cool look would be ruined. But later on, he also helps with cleaning up.

There were dust all over the cupboard and she could tell the last time it was ever touched probably months ago. She then get distracted by the two figure who were standing outside the council office. It looks like they were arguing and having a heated converstaion based on their movements.
