Jhoanna stiffened and felt her heart stop for a moment. Then she felt her heart pounds hard in her chest as soon as she saw the woman who captivates her heart, one day at a time, and holding it hostage within her warmth.

Marupok ka. Jhoanna scolded her heart. It was beating so loud as if it wanted to come out and explode in her chest. Stacey made her feel things.

She felt relief because she saw Stacey's beautiful face.

And pain by just seeing her.

It was distracting and overwhelming. She wanted to scream at herself and deny what she feels but she can't.

She just can't.

She does not hate Stacey, no matter how hard she tried. And her decision to move on and forget about her suddenly disappeared like a bubble in an instant by seeing her gracefully standing like a princess in a disney movie.

The moment she saw Stacey all their happy memories came flashing back through her mind like a slideshow. Like a wave in the sea being pulled by the moon's gravity, her thoughts would irresistibly turn to the girl who made her feel everything. Jhoanna's mind was full of her. When she was awake, when she was asleep, when she was eating, when she was at school. It was all her.

That giddy, euphoric excitement she feels when she's around. Stacey was standing near the ornate staircase with chandelier and marble flooring in a palace like. She was having a conversation with her popular rich friends. Her presence really commanded attention, and it was clear that she was to being in the public eye. Everyone was greeting her and wanted to talk to her. But she looked like she was not interested. She roams her eyes it seems like she was looking for someone.

Jhoanna's breath caught in her throat when Stacey's dark, bottomless, endless, mermerizing eyes meet hers. And all the way across the room, Jhoanna could see all the emotions in Stacey's eyes. And it annoys her because, Stacey was affecting her so much by just simply looking at her eyes. It burns in her heart and coils at her throat.

Jhoanna misses her.

Every bit of her.

They held each others eyes for minutes. It was like a scene in a romantic movie when everything slows down and all the sounds become mute, and Stacey is the only one she can see. No one else but her. Students cleared around a bit, allowing Jhoanna to look at Stacey from head to toe.

Stacey wore a black floor-length as black as her hair, which shimmered silver in light. Silver heels and jewelry topped off the look. Her dark eyeshadows brought out her gorgoues brown orbs, and her lips were rich, deep red. Her loose hair flowed down her shoulders in waves. Her pearlscent skin seemed to shimmer under the sparking lights.

Stacey was really a complete head-turner.

She looked stunning because of her organic beauty. It was breathtaking and natural.

Jhoanna felt her mouth suddenly go dry and her heart beat faster even more, she couldn't hear anything else but the pounding of her chest.

Jhoanna was completely swept off her feet. Oblivious to her surroundings, not noticing the worried look of her friends on her, as she gazed at Stacey.

The two women gazed on each other for a few minutes. Jhoanna's trying her best not to react to the sight of Stacey. She still stood frozen in place, unable to tear her eyes off the woman who stole her heart and broke it at the same. Then she noticed Stacey's lips part in shock, surprise flashing in her eyes which shifted into worry and longing.

Stacey began to walked in Jhoanna's direction, the crowd seemed to be part before her. As she walked to it along through with a long, purposeful stride and a regal air. Stacey strode closer. Jhoanna quickly went back into her trance and panicked welled within her as she saw Stacey approaching her.
