Chapter 27

The next morning Jhoanna woke up with a heavy heart. It was the second day she had to go through without Stacey by her side. She lazyly stood up to force herself to began her morning routine. Brushing her teeth while humming Stacey's favorite song as she stood before the mirror. She tied her hair into a loose bun, leaving a few strands. With a final glance at her reflection Jhoanna sighed deeply and smiled.

When she got to the kitchen she saw a piece of paper stuck to the fridge. Her mother is not around, she leaves early because her work is quite far from their house.

Umalis na ako nak. May pagkain dyan, niluto ko paborito mo. Ingat sa pagpasok, love you.

Jhoanna couldn't help but smile at that simple yet meaningful gesture and she began eat her breakfast.

Stacey didn't pick her up, but she sent a grab for Jhoanna to ride to school. She also left food in Jhoanna's locker with a small paper, containing sweet words.

After a while her phone vibrated, Jhoanna smiled when Stacey's name appeared, she sent her a message.

It's only a good morning when I'm with you. My morning is not good because you are not by my side. I'm sorry, my love. My family and I are just taking care of something important, but I promise I'll make it up to you. I miss you so much. See you soon. I love you.

Jhoanna smiled widely while reading Stacey's message to her, but suddenly changed to sadness when she found out that, she still won't be able to see Stacey today. She sighed while replying to Stacey's message, she understood that Stacey was busy and her world doesn't revolve around Jhoanna. She got that. But she just couldn't help but feel sad, both of them could hardly met at school. Yes they were seated next to each other in literature yesterday, but they couldn't talk because their classmates might notice them. The only interaction they had yesterday was when Stacey suddenly grabbed her hand under the chair, and entwined it with hers until the end of their class. Tapos wala na, hanggang ngayon. Jhoanna seriously misses Stacey's presence.

Stacey presence brings her peace, and her smile is Jhoanna's daily dose of happiness, but she doesn't want to sound too clingy so she will just wait for Stacey.

Sheena's voice broke Jhoanna off her own thoughts.

"Okay kalang?"

Jhoanna seemed to pause for a moment, then she gives a barely visible nod.

"Busy parin ba?"Maloi asked.

Jhoanna nod again.

"Nagmessage naman ba?"Si Colet naman ang susunod na nagtanong.

Again. Jhoanna nodded.

"Nag iwan ba ng pagkain sa locker mo na may kasamang note?"It was Gwen who asked this time.

Jhoanna pouted as she nodded again.

"Ayon naman pala eh, bakit ang lungkot mo dyan? Kala ko naman wala talaga kayong communication meron naman pala."

Colet rolled her eyes and Jhoanna pouted even more.

"Huwag kana malungkot, busy lang yon babawi siya sayo."Maloi assured, smiling softly at Jhoanna."At saka may dala kaming mangga na may masarap na alamang, sigurado magugustuhan mo to."

Jhoanna felt a sudden hunger when Maloi mention that. Her eyes lit up, and she became excited.

She suddenly felt happy, even though Stacey is not by her side now, she still has friends who are always ready to lighten her heavy heart.

Two naked figures move in sync on a wrinkled bed, Jhoanna gave out a throaty moan, she stiffened. Her muscle tense completely, she felt the intense feeling spreading throughout her body and her legs started to shake as a feeling of delicious bliss waved through her whole being. Her eyes widened and froze till the air entered her lungs again and she was breathing deeply as her body softened.
